I get what you are saying wilf but I also think you are failing to see the reality of being a party of opposition and becoming a party that could actually end up in a position with some power. There is a massive difference between ranting about mass deportations and posting Twitter posts about being British and actually being able to knock on the doors of the ordinary public and talk about real issues and real political positions. I'm a monarchist. I believe everyone society needs a fairy tale to rally around, it's what holds people together. England was the alter and the crown.....the history, Identity and link to our past. Kier starmer said during the riots that people would be sent down and they would be shocked at how long and how quick it would happen. Now bare in mind that the courts are currently setting court dates for 12 months time for charges brought in 2023. So accused in 2023 and get a trial in 2026. Yet these people arrested in the civil unrest were sent down for 6-18 months for minor offences like buying eggs for the protestors or shouting at coppers....they went down within 4 weeks of being arrested. Not one of those people went before a magistrate and a high court judge I know also didn't hear of

Gutted as always I didn't make it but I'm always busy this fortnight over comp weekend. I always think it's a shame the rest of the forum members don't get to bid on some of the auction lots.
