  17. getting back on topic. a dog i know has a lining fee of 750 to 1k and is know to produce the goods, but the goods come from ppl who have the ground and game to put in front of their pup 4/5 days a week .now is the guts and stamina coming from the dog or bitch or the man giving the best opertunity to the pup whether or not its line bred or cur.

  21. long time ago a terrier man had a litter. and the mother was so clean with the pups she took the cords right off to the belly and both dog and bitch pups had their bits bitten off too,all was left was holes where the piss comes from, one bitch survived [the others had infections and died ] and her was perfect in all ways except she hadnt got a fanny. that bitch was never bred from again, that was twenty odd years ago and ive never seen it happen since.
  22. My boy raised a jay and a maggie over the years, the jay would whistle and talk its head off,the maggie would talk and was a bugger for the pegs on the line, but when maturity came and the breeding season was here they just up and left, they had free reign of an old 6 by 4 shed with no window, the maggie would visit now and then but got wild and left .

Dont get me wrong when a line is good and tested over time fair play, but so many get messed about and diluted and ppl using names to sell pups it rueins a lot of yrs hard work . im old fashioned i have to see for my self what dogs do,and after 3/4 seasons hard graft without cocking off then i think a pups worth a try .A T Best ...........steve
