  1. The RSPCA are the biggest set of c**ts on the earth, they took my mates dogs with the police last September for suspicion of badger digging, which was a load of bullshit. Anyway they took 6 terriers and his 9 year old saluki, they left 2 spaniels behind that he uses for bushing ??. They never had a scrap of evidence either and eventually his solicitor phoned him last week (10 month later) to tell him they had dropped all charges and he could collect his dogs. I took him to the RSPCA to collect them and they brought them out one by one and we put them in the motor, then they brought the Lur
  2. There's a vet here (west yorkshire) only charges £20 for both jabs....
  3. Shit news that mate, but look on the bright side both the parents are still alive so you can easily repeat the mating....
  4. I once chased one in a Subaru, it left me for dead in my Fourtrak.....
  5. I once took one with a cheetah...
  6. Bolt cutters weren't necessary when I was driving fields you could get on any field without having to waste any energy getting out of the car....lol
  7. That video is the perfect example of how not to do it, but not everybody's the same are they ?
  8. Maybe you should have a night out with "them lads" before jumping to conclusions ????
  9. There usually on 15" rims mate, 205/70/15 are the standard size I think, there good motors but the back shockers have a tendency to break easily, I think the legacy is a stronger motor but the forester has a better ground clearance...
  10. I've seen it done loads of times with the one dog. Usually when I was on a cocktail of magic mushrooms and ecstasy.....
  11. No your getting f**k all for that tommy, but I'm well impressed with your photo cropping, you can't even see the Subaru in your avatar pic now lol
  12. I'd say the man driving the fields would be the better poacher, his jeep would be stacked out with enough game to provide his family with meals for months and he could earn his self a few quid on the side as well.... The man walking could'nt carry a lot whilst still walking his dog and climbing over walls and fences etc so he wouldn't be able to provide his family with as much meat in one outing, and he would have to risk it all over again much sooner...lol
  13. Wrong tommy sorry, both the motors were diesel....
  14. None get 51 they all only manage a measley 50 runs lol
  15. It's a stupid question that seems to get even more stupid answers....
  16. Just thought I'd see what the experts on here think is the fitter dog after reading some of the shit on the driving thread? Dog A gets drove to his lamping spot and then he runs 50 rabbits off the slip. Dog B gets drove about all night and he runs 50 rabbits from the motor. Dog C gets walked to his lamping spot and he runs 50 rabbits off the slip. I think the answers pretty obvious myself.
  17. Some people are missing the point a bit here, truth is some like some don't , and to be honest why would anyone care if it doesn't involve them ? if your happy with what your doing good look with it. But to say a dog that is run on walked up quarry is fitter is the biggest load of bollocks I've ever heard, a fit dog is a fit dog wether you lamp on foot or from a car. I'll put it this way if Mo Farah drove to the shops instead of walking would he not of won a gold medal ? Of course he would because he's still getting the correct training and nutrition. I've seen plenty of lads dogs that ha
  18. Good diet, and proper exercise play a big part, but running quarry makes them peak and if your lamping from a motor there getting more than enough running to reach there peak.
  19. Fair point.. but could them same dog's walk for that long and and do the same number's on good land that would produce the same amount..I can't comment for other people but if a dogs fully fit and can run i can't see why it wouldn't, I think it all boils down to the breeding and conditioning, look at it this way if your dog can do it and you decided to start driving fields with that same dog it would still be able to do the hard nights on foot wouldn't it ?.The way you work the dog is just another factor, any decent dog man should have that dog in peak fitness if he's giving it enough work.
  20. I believe any dog would be fooked after 6/7 hrs but if your dog wouldn't be then how do you think it would cope with 6/7 hrs of getting dropped out on foxes ?, its horses for courses mate...
  21. I don't lamp anymore or even own a Lurcher anymore, but i must of been lamping for 20 years or so, i started on foot and really enjoyed it and had plenty of good nights, but even on a really good night we would be lucky to nail a couple of foxes, but I was more than happy with that at the time and they were usually taken with some Lurcher x Lurcher or collie/greyhound. But as time went on we started using the old Subaru l series estates and driving fields, that's when I got properly hooked on foxes, and that's when I soon realised that the dogs that were in our eyes very good dogs were not goo
  22. I wouldn't class it as a working terrier show its more like a poor mans crufts....
