  8. hi buddy yes change your pellets to a decent domed head pellet,if you are still getting 1.5 inch groups, then clean your barrle
  9. hi buddy you will only need to clean it ,when you experience inaccuracy.its the first port of call with any one who is having accuracy issues. but you have answered your own question "if its not broke, don't fix it"
  10. hi nick you going about it the right way buddy learn how to shoot a springer well, and you will be able to shoot a PCP well too springer is where its at Iam new to this rifle game davy but i managed to take a 50 metre rat at woodend farm on monday, why would i want a pcp, only had the prosport 10 days mate regards Nick well done nick on the rat splat! you will find once you get the bug, there will be room for a PCP in your armoury. and if you are going to be doing a lot of ratting ,then there is a defo need for a multi shot PCP
  11. hi if the bolt is sliding free with out the mag, then check out your indexing post, there is a chance it is bent or about to snap! also what type of pellets are you using? i have known of a person who had a pellet trapped in the bolt housing before! once i took it apart i found it all squashed up in there,i wont mention his name here

  18. you could always ask roger? what? have you seen how much he charges for pens? imagine the price of a stock...(just kidding rog lol) cheers si, we'll have to get together for a shoot again soon, see what you two think cheers, wurz UH? When you say we!
  19. what he said once you find the correct pellet, then set about weighing them good luck in your quest
  20. hi jim i have looked through one, which belongs to Si,i like what i see. the low mag for ratting .22 and the half mildot helps with .22 trajectory only guess work is the 1/4 mildot PCP May be the huntsman ? the 4-16x50 spec i am also use to,i have 2 MTC Optics, but in my opinion the Hawke has the better aim points for windage. and in a HFT scenario these will aid me greatly! with a spring rifle of my choice i currently use a 3-12x44 on my TX and i get on so well with my other 4-16x50 i shall give it a go,a tad expensive you may think? but if all fails i still have another good hu
  21. hi Phil yes it will, take up Si's offer you know it makes sense
  22. There's an element of truth there skot which is why most FT shooters use these: http://www.intershoot.co.uk/acatalog/Centra-Level-I-164.html I've been considering one myself for my Annie but am too stubborn and can't justify the spend.. just try harder! Takes all the fun out too, it can all get a bit OTT hi Elliott you definitely don't need one of these, you shoot very well with out one
