I find it hard to believe at the moment. It makes no sense for someone in his position to do this. I think he’s being dragged over the coals for his opinions which upset the left The government allowing all the people coming across the channel are worst, basically condoning slave labour, human trafficking, young girls getting brassed off etc

The Joshua of old, when under Sims would’ve tested Fury I think Usyk is by far the better boxer, but he might be too small as he isn’t a natural heavyweight and Fury’s a mammoth of a heavyweight I still think Usyk can pull it off

The country’s a joke, we’re too soft. There’s another thread on here about energy prices and having to move family members in, yet you can live all inclusive for free. It’s the same down my way, they’re being housed in Datchet Manor Hotel. I think Essex had quite a few Epping, Witham, Colchester etc. I don’t know how true it is but I read the ones being put up in Great Hallingbury complained about the quality of food they were getting!

?? they’re the only places open for a drink when the pubs close! I’ll have to try The Horns as never been there. I remember getting my first England kit from Magri’s sports shop over there when my aunt lived in Charles Dickens house - good times. I don’t know why and I still do, but I always found south of the A13 over that way a scary place. I hope the cafe at the bottom of Freemasons Road is still there as I’m getting involved in the millennium mills redevelopment

Yeah I heard they changed it. Been on sites in Bishopsgate the last few years so we been going 23 Pauls Street. Barking (the family’s from Stepney and Canning Town). I moved out years ago to the sticks over Slough way. I take it your East End based on the Alf profile picture

Not been to Browns in years. When I was a young sparky I used to do favours in there for my guvnor… and Images down the road which was a khazi Metropolis with the car wash was always a good one

Quality city, I go there a few times every year for a piss up. I can’t do more than 3 nights though as the yanks enthusiasm drains me by then - if you like bars check out The Dead Rabbit. I got back week before Christmas and it’s well expensive over there now, $9-10 a pint before tip, $5 a coffee

Sad news about Gold passing away. Intimidated by who mate? It seems common knowledge he’s off in the summer if we get the right offer. It will be interesting to see if a top 4 club will spunk 70M+ on him - City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Utd all have decent centre mids
