    When I started in 77 I was on £21 a week as soon as I turned 18 it went up to £84 a week, my factory working mates were still on 20 odd, I was living like a fckn king til 84/85...

    As good as these museums are they are a fair bit different from an actual working pit, no noises, smells,dust, extreme temperatures ect but they will give a good look into what it was like, go and have a look and report back...
