Always job and knock with me and the regular gangs know it, if I'm travelling 2 hours to site and back last thing I want is to be stuck there all fckn night. When my boy first started with me he was late twice had to wait for him to get out the door, 3rd time I drove past his pick up point, half hour later he was on the phone asking where I was, he lost the shift and that was the last time he was late

I've got 3 or 4 core gangs that work with me they are never late ( unless there's an accident on a road ) and they never ask what time do we finish, when they were late I'd keep them late, if they asked what time we'd finish they were there til time, I'm not a cvnt its job and knock every day where possible but I expect certain things done proper
