  1. Ice is better than heat rap a bag of frozen peas or something similar in a cloth and hold it on for a good 15min.. Takes the swelling and bruising down ,had to do it every 3hrs when my beddy hurt her back that was after she had been to the vets.

Sorry for your loss mate same happened to mine last Thursday chased rabbit under hedge horse was sheltering out of rain she must have startled it and it kicked out she was lucky in a way it hit her in middle of chest had a couple of visits to vets and needs about a weeks rest but could have had a different outcome. Chin up mate.

  8. Back to vets today swelling went down still fluid about no bone damage but has damaged muscle in chest another 7 days rest and should be back to her self.

Out for the usual wander the smorrning with the 3 dogs noticed the lurcher didint seem right when got home checked her over found large graze in her chest and a couple on her legs but her chest between her legs was full of fluid about the size of a large orange phoned vet she said bring her down and I will check her over seems she has run into something and might have broken the point of her sternum so given anti imflamitary injection plus pills back on sat morn for check up and then x rays on Monday. £58 quid the smorrning who knowes what for the next visits but she's worth it.
  12. Just been up to look at some permission I have I worked it hard over the summer with the dog as this is what the farmer wanted. Ferreted a couple of times at start of season got a few then a couple of blank sessions haven't been for a few weeks went today for a wander with the dogs all sets look worked and the dogs marked all the sets, got talking to a guy that shoots pigeons on the land and he says he has seen quite a few rabbits knocking about so it looks like a plan for Boxing Day .

  14. Nelson will make any net you want any length dogs soon get used to them and learn to jump them never trained mine in any way just stuck the net down and she instinctively jumped it .
