  1. Good on ya fellah; I'm glad you got some sport out of it And, I'm glad Mr Cook made some dosh; which it sounds like he did I'm not one of those jealous types who resents others 'doing a bit'.... in fact, back in 'the day' (<< a 'trendy phrase I'm not over happy with) I actually subbed some work to Ed.... Anyway, as has been (well) said, one section of society it pays never to trust is the press Like I say, good job for someone; glad to see the job portrayed in a positive light
  2. Yes, as proved by at least one legal case. The Fenn is designed to work against a tight fitting tunnel. The courts have already ruled that the 'roof' of a 'loft' does not constitute a tunnel. What's the problem? Why not use a wooden tunnel?
  3. Personally, I'd avoid due to the connection with certain ex members who let folks down badly.... You can't really beat fourteenacre or Magnum for quality of service and product
  4. Were you one of the men that went to 'kmow'??
  5. They don't. If you think they are, then make use of the report button, or PM a moderator. That's what has happened here.
  6. There's only one reason why posts get removed; and it doesn't take a MENSA member to work it out. If you don't like it, you know what to do
  7. Temo Tac ?? Arthur Carter used to sell it. I'm not sure if Urad or whatever that lot that bought him out sell it or not.
  8. Another big rabbit job for Ed Cook (link) Seems fairly cheap for three months hard work!
  9. The same applies to long standing members who continue to post For Sale topics here despite previous warnings. It's great that you lads have a hobby like this and are so willing to share ideas and tips. BUT that doesn't mean that the forum rules, or the law of the land don't apply. None of the moderators want to be looking in here every five minutes and dealing with reports about this section, so if everyone sticks to the rules there will be no problem.
  10. Happy to remove any thread which contains details of potential illegality. Please note that the rules clearly state that content can be removed without explanation. I've given you enough explanations; any more stirring or posting of what are obviously illegal activities and warning points will be issued.
  11. I thought your 'Fenn Radar' would be going off! Yes, I think it is too.... I have to confess, I'm currently having a little 'spat' with a few animal rights morons on Twitter and just scrolled down through the pictures without looking properly That's my excuse anyway
  12. I knew my schoolboy error would flush out OTC Great post OTC; informative and to the point.
  13. I employed a couple of lads off this site, but I'm afraid I probably wouldn't bother now. BPCA & NPTA sites and mags are probably the best bet.
  14. Having said that it could just be the angle of that Fenn.... perhaps it is a Rabbit after all... The Imbra is worth £15-£30 depending on condition.
  15. I like the look of the Sawyer and what I think is a prototype Fenn....
  16. Yes. I'll be interested in what OTC has to say about these
  17. There was only one tool around here....
  18. I removed it, and I think you can guess why.
  19. Then this forum isn't the place for you. Illegal activities are not condoned or allowed on here, so I suggest you post with more care in future please
  20. Good for you mate None of that changes the purpose of this thread, which was to remind everyone that 'taking' pheasants at night is illegal. You may be 100% legal with what you do and where you do it, but some on here aren't and seem completely ignorant of the law.
  21. So someone else releases pheasants and you shoot them? Are you certain the farmers have the right to give you permission?
  22. Currently doing quite a few Youngs Harvest Bitter and Definative kits. Both are outstanding IMO.
  23. That's a good OG Jamie. I use the Youngs yeast myself; it's good stuff and not over priced. If it's still fermenting then leave it well alone.
  24. The real stuff? Pick apples Scrat apples Press apples Add yeast Wait Wait some more Drink. There are three types of cider commonly made. Kit cider; concentrated apple juice, add sugar and yeast. Turbo cider; buy cheap apple juice, add yeast and Real cider; as above. There is lot's of info online; don't rush to buy anything without researching first
