  1. And that, forum members sums up the real issue Want to be a martyr?? Join the Taliban Want to stop reading THL? Don't bother logging in...
  2. Funny ain't it? You'd think a mental health professional would be the first port of call rather than someone who was going to charge mega money for nowt
  3. There's got to be more to a solicitors letter than not being/ or being banned on a forum.. Someone is telling half a story IMO..??? No comment. You'll find out soon enough Don't expect Stewie to back you up when the time comes Anyway; I hope you guys have a nice time fishing It's always good when like minded folks get together for a bit of sport I'm off to the safety of my duvet. Hopefully I'll be safe there from misguided solicitors with appallingly bad briefs from misguided fools there..........
  4. If someone doesn't want to log in and read the forum, why is it such a big issue? yawn Gosh, it must have taken hours to think through that reply
  5. If someone doesn't want to log in and read the forum, why is it such a big issue?
  6. and pil ? I refer the 'gentleman' (in it's 'loosest' interpretation) to the answer given above
  7. Explain? Generally, I would always PM a member before issuing any kind of 'formal' warning? Perhaps you'd like to explain how that makes me 'trigger happy' ??
  8. @ WXM.... You are quite right of course The trouble is, as a Moderator, you can't just 'block' members.... especially when they follow you round the forum trying to make you delete them The really sad thing is; some of them push, and push and push, and when that fails to work, they threaten to waste money on solicitors sending pointless letters Really and truly, folks need to remember that t'is just the t'internet, and it's quite easy to not bother logging in Now, where were we ??
  9. It's always sad when 'people' post things like 'please remove my account', because they aren't man enough to stop logging in You'd think they had more in their lives than an internet forum?

I'm sure you could be right I like people who think 'outside the pen'......

Indeed Invest your money and take your chance buddy I'll rest easy; I've found in life, a dickhead is a dickhead, no matter how deep his pockets are
  12. Do you really want me to share the details? Are you sure? (for information with innocent bystanders reading this sad story, that is not what it was for)

Me too Trouble is, some people can't accept the facts
  15. Killgerm used to do 'Winter' and 'Summer' versions of Sakarat D. Very palatable, and at one time, the only bait the London and Brummie mice would take
  16. Without sounding like an anally retentive law abiding goody goody, let's not forget that professionals shouldn't be using amateur use products, and a product labelled for 'crawling insects' isn't approved for flying insects BUT.......... there are no depths too low for your average cash only merchant to sink to The trouble is, even if they stick to the rules, Ficam D is easily available online and isn't really the 'major factor' in cheapskates As I say, the product used is the least of the problems. The cheapskates will probably be running their van on 'Cherry' and won't bother

    Sheep Fence

The trouble is, in any flock, there are always a few sheep that are too stupid to realise that simply battering their way out isn't always the best thing to do. The bigger the flock, the more chance of a few stupid ones Trouble is, they batter their way out through the fence, despite the best efforts of the shepherd (who has their interests at heart), thinking the grass is going to be more lush somewhere else Often, when they realise that 'lush' grass is actually covered in dung, they try and work their way back through the electric fence, often going to ridiculous lengths to do
  18. Would you like to give an example? Stig, I've not been online since this morning, so don't know what's happened. The only thing I'm certain of, is that you deserved any warning you were given

  20. Don't count on it Ficam is easily available, and cheap. Each nest costs about 35p in Ficam, so it's the least of the expenses involved
  21. Only about 300 miles away P&P will be about a fiver for signed for first class
  22. Good question. I'll find out tommorow and let you know, but either way it's cheap. Personally I'd not dig 16' for a ferret, but I can see where you are coming from
  23. No, this is the smaller one. It boils enough water for 2 or 3 brews I had the bigger version myself years ago, but preferred the small one as it boils up quicker
  24. For Sale: One ferret locator, box only. As you can see from the picture, it's not too bad looking, although I can't test it because it's 100 miles away from me at the moment. When I put it away it was working fine, but that's as far as it goes. I do know that there are people who service these older type boxes and I'm not aware of any problems with it. These seem to make around £60 on the bay, I'm asking £40 plus P&P at cost.
