I was in New Zealand a while back in a town called Toakaroa and I went in a bar and a lot of the Māoris were barefoot and the cockies all had old Barbour type jackets on and shorts and wellies , drinking Lion Red ! I fitted right in ! LOL ! Cheers.

I was in the Metro Centre today paying a small fortune at Footasylum for trainers for my grandson for the missus to take to Saudi for him and I saw a new shop that had “gentlemen’s” suits so I had a quick perusal, I could have bought a tidy second hand car for the price they wanted for a tweed three piece, so I’ll stick to “Atlas For Men “ and army surplus ! I agree, mate, but my point is the mods have the power to delete or edit posts. If someone doesn’t take the hint, then ban them. The lurcher and hunting craic is now subservient to the general topic forum . I like and add when I can to the general topic forum, but it is a HUNTING site, after all. Cheers.

This site is extremely tame compared to what it was like years ago. OK, some go over the top, but that’s what moderators are for; delete or edit posts, but banning should be a last resort. I don’t envy the moderators job , I know, I’ve been a mod on other sites and it’s a thankless job, but you have to know when to sit back and also when to step in. I’ve taken to having a pork Sezhuan from the Chinese take away now and again. Just hot enough and very tasty. I enjoy a “British” Chinese or Indian meal, now and again, but they are completely different to the real thing. Cheers.

A couple of years ago, my neighbour and his wife wanted to have Christmas dinner at our house and said they’d bring all the ingredients from Blagdon Farm Shop. Excellent food, but when I saw the bill, I had to have a stiff drink, even though they payed for it ! LOL ! Cheers.
