    I'd like to agree with Denned.. that was a rather sweeping statement to say "all Scottish Shows are fixed" !!!! I was at four Scottish shows last year and was lucky enough to get three Reserve Championships, including Reserve Scottish Champion of Champions, and believe me, I am not one of the "faces" or "clique" in Scotland, and also my dog is first and foremost a working dog. Of course there are fixed shows, in England as well as Scotland, but to say all are fixed is nonsense ! Cheers.

    Chartpolski, just because he is an officer it doesn't mean they don't do these duties, anyone can be a FAC it's not real hard, good on the lad for having a go, yes he would have had the real deal lads all over him, but at least he is in country. You appear to have misread my post: I said he IS a FAC and a Cavalry Officer !! He would NOT be manning a HMG or doing a street patrol, in "normal" circumstances. This footage was only for the media.     I appreciate that he was there, but why did the media have to stage manage some things ? He is an Officer and a Forward Air Controller; so why show him manning a HMG, and doing a street patrol ?? As a Cavalry Officer, he wouldn't have been doing this. Being a FAC is a dangerous enough job, and good for him for doing it, but why embellish ? Cheers.

    I agree 100% with Mr. Howards views . I also agree with his decission to hold assylum seekers on offshore islands and threatening to sink any ship attempting to land illegal immigrants.     You made it obvious by your use of "smillies" what your opinion is, and you don't want a discussion; you want an argument . It depends entirely on your reason for working dogs. If , like me, you hunt for the table, dog food, or beer vouchers, you will hunt day or night, and take what you can. If you are only in it to see a dog work a hare, and aren't bothered about the kill, stick to daytime hares, but don't knock other people. Cheers.
