    You might need to sit down before i tell you this.......but he managed to stay on his feet all night!!!!! -good good he must ov been takein his time was he lol did he carry any ov the bunnies then or left it to the young 1 Had my new boots on; and had the apprentice carrying the rabbits !! Even had him carrying my lamp towards the end !! LOL !! You've got to make allowances for age !! Cheers.

    Had a quick look out tonight, local, with LDR. He had Bruce and I had Delta. Not the best of nights for lamping, with a full moon and almost bright enough at times to not need a lamp !! But LDR was keen to try out his new "Stong Stuff" Game Carrier !! Not a lot about, but we had nine rabbits from eleven slips, so not to bad ! LDR with Bruce; Me with Delta; Cheers.

    I've often wondered how any of these "exotic" breeds would do here, either as pure breds or crossed into the lurcher lines ?? Obviously, the desert bred Saluki's are highly sought after, but are there any of the other breeds still doing the business in their own countries, that could add anything to the Lurcher here ??? Cheers.

    Correct they are known as Chartpolski's in france in germany they are called Polnischer Windhund and in spain they are called Lebrel Polaconice pics mate Chart, Hort, Bortz, are just different ethnic spellings of Hound in Eastern Europe, as in Borzoi, in Russia. And I'm sure, (even though the Poles vigorously deny it), that the Saluki, Sloughi, Afghan, Tazi, Chartpolski, Borzoi, et al, come from the same origional middle eastern stock ! Cheers. did you see them 2 dogs work ? some engine room on them aint the No mate, thats just a pic of the 'net ! I've only seen one genuine

If it was a Greyhound or a Whippet, you would say what the sire and dam were, and how they were bred, but Saluki X guys only mention what the sire and dam are related to !! Cheers. because they know all coursing dogs are saluki crosses. if you know anything about coursing youll be more intrested in nthe particular lines what theve thrown and what theve done in there day. stick to the bunnys green

    Lets arrange a night out mate; for every hare your Jack Russel takes, I'll give you £100, for every one my Lurcher takes, you give me £10, see who has the most money at the end of the night !! The people who have never ran a hare, day or night, allways talk the most shite !! you might end up ten pound richer lol sorry mate made me chuckle the best i had seen was 6/6 daytime and loads on the lamp £10 richer is better than being out of pocket !! LOL !! I've done the daytime stuff, (still do), but like a walk on the dark side aswell !! Cheers

    Day time hare has allways been my favourite quarry, and the best test of a dog,; but if you think they are easy in the lamp, then you are lamping in a different place to me .... or not lamping at all !! Yes, they are EASIER, in the lamp.... but EASY... don't think so !!
