LDR, just replace Markbrick with someone who WANTS to take part, and WILL accept and abide by the rules !!! I doubt MB will take part whatever happens, and will only try to twist things around as to why he didn't take part, and will try to infer that it wasn't a proper competition without his dog in it !!! Are you asking me. Just my preferance mate, i'v not had the privalage of seeing a 26.5 dog which was any good on rabbits.So thats why i would put my money on them. Not that i know them or have ever seen them run, just the make up id put my hard erned money on in a rabbiting contest.. But you've got 10 years expeiance on me. There is allways going to be people trying to find fault and make things more complicated !! If a dog wins and then cannot, for whatever reason, make the next round, then the other dog gets a bye!!!!! In the Waterloo Cup, the F.A. Cup, whatever, a beaten competitor doe's not get a second chance ! That is simply the luck of the draw !! And as for "home ground" advantage, doe's anyne seriously believe that a dog knows where a rabbit is going to clap or make it's run on any given night ??? Give me a break !!!! Why won't a 26.5" dog win this comp ????? LDRs Bruce is 27" and one of the best lamping/rabbit dogs I've seen in over 40 years !! I've seen a 29" dog pick up rabbits every bit as good as a 22" dog !! Cheers.

She's to young and unproven to think about breeding from. A bitch should be top class at her job before being bred from, hopefully in the future if she makes the grade, she will be bred from. Yeah, I'll be at Pontop Pike, I can see it from my house !!! Cheers. If she wins this competition mate there'll be some people wanting pups....... And you'll have the pick, (after me), for free !! good lad ritchie , fancy a match on big ears , delta v teri ------- no contest she does it on her own oh , ps ---- shes pregnant Den, as you know Delta is not a hare dog, but I did take her out a couple of times with LDR, and once with Jeddah, and every time she did the bizz, and I'm talking daytime, on the Northumberland fells, in winter !! This lamping competition could be great, it will sort out the talkers from the walkers, I'm up for it !!! No probs max, i think its easier to give each leg a month to run in, that way when its local people can choose moon patterns and shit like that........ If anyone is finding problems with the rules let me know, i'm open to suggestions, but the entry fee is gonna have to stay as it is.......i'm doing this for nowt by the way, and i aint even taking part in it, yet if it was offered to me, i'd be in £50 no probs, i'll prob end up putting in £50 for the hotel in the final just t keep the money nice and rounded!!!!!!!!!! Nothing stopping you entering same rules for you as everyone else
