    Here's the bitch I'm entering; Delta, same one as last year ! She got beat in the 2nd round last year by the eventual winner, her working partner Bruce ! Maybe I'll have him in my kennels again for a few weeks this year, and REALLY nobble him !!! LOL !!! I couldn't win it last year, with 16 in it, so probably won't have much chance this year with 32 in it, but what the hell; it's good craic !!! Good luck to all who enter !! Cheers.

    What happened to all the people who said they would have entered last years comp," if they had known " ?????? There are pleanty who "talk the talk", but how many actualy "walk the walk" ???? Get the money in, mate and lets have a competition, even if the "wannabees" just want to talk about it on the 'net !! Cheers.

    like the the dogs mate the blck and white is very nice how big tts mate and is he any good on the lamp thanks for the replys I don't know how Saddle, (the black and white ), is doing, as he's not my dog; but the sire, (Flynn) has done everything, as has his daughter, the brindle bitch, Delta . I would guess that Saddle is about 25", but I could be wrong. Cheers.

    The brindle dog is a 1st cross Beddy/Grey from heartbreak fell kennel (Flynn); the black and white behind him is a pup off him and a 1st cross Saluki/Grey. The brindle bitch is by him, (Flynn), to a Deer/Grey-Whippet/Grey. All working dogs. Cheers.

    This is only the second year of this game fair; and although it was good last year, this year it was great !! The organisors took on board the suggestions from last year and I think this will become one of the premier Game fairs/Lurcher & Terrier shows. There was something for every field sports enthusiast, and the trade stands were about 90% field sports orientated, unlike some game fairs !! A great day out, well done to the organisers !!! Cheers.

    Well, there were better dogs than mine in it last year, and I'm sure there will be again this year ! But I enjoyed the nights out, the craic and meeting some new guys; so count me in again !! Cheers.

    I could have went less than 20 miles to a local show today, but after the welcome I got last year when I judged at Neilston I didn't mind a 350 mile round trip to go up there again today, and see my old mate Tom !! There were loads of lads from the different sites, some I allready knew , and it was a pleasure putting names to faces of other people !! Although I only got a third in the ring, I did well in the raffle; three prizes from four tickets !! The rain dampened it a bit, but didn't spoil the excellent terriers and lurchers that were on display. This show is an object lesson on how shows

    Crufts is just a show,!!!! Fashion, poor breed standards, and peoples interpritation of those breeds standards is whats ruined many pedigree breeds. Mars.. Crufts could improve the breed quality and health of many spoilt breeds, such as King Charles Spaniels, English Bulldogs, Bassetts, etc., simply by refusing such breeds entry to their show, until the breeds improved in health and confomation.     Crufts HAS ruined many breeds of dogs !!! That is why the BBC, Pedigree Petfoods, the RSPC and The Dogs Trust have all pulled out of supporting Crufts !! Cheers.

    Tepe Gawha was a Saluki bred from desert lines, nothing to do with Tazi's, as far as I know ! Cheers.

    Lurcher shows in general are corupt ! NLRC shows in particular are the most corupt ! "I'll judge this week, and you'll win........You judge next week and I'll win " !! Seen it to often !! There are some shows where there are real working dogs being shown, and decent judges picking working dogs; e.g. the EDRD show; Neilston Working Terrier Show, Etc., But by and large, if you aren't one of the "clique", just go to a show for the craic; 'cause you sure won't win anything !!! Cheers.

    I'm NOT having a go, by any means; but she can only have one season of work under her belt, why not wait until she is a bit more proven ? As for stud dog, why not a proven Saluki hybrid ? Cheers.
