Seems pricey that CP mate. It's only £35 to have a dog PTS at our local vets. My brother recently had to have a lurcher put down; £120 if you dispose of the body; £190 if they do. Right rip off ! Cheers.

Years ago, anyone could have their pet treated at the PDSA, no "means testing". But I think with the way vets fees went sky high, the PDSA were becoming overwhelmed !! Now the criteria is that you must be in receipt of housing benifit or council tax benefit; being on the dole isn't enough ! I think this is a bad system,what if you are on the dole, but living with parents or partner ? You wouldn't qualify for these benefits, so wouldn't meet the PDSA's rules ! Another thing I find strange is in this case they put the dog down, vets charge around £100-£200 for this; but they wouldn't "x-ray" t

A young bitch of mine cut her wrist on broken glass and I thougt there was glass in the wound. The nearest vet was the PDSA, so I took her there. The receptionist asked if I was registered, I said I wasn't, she said never mind and pointed to a large sign on the wall saying "No sick animal turned away". The vet sedated the dog, explored the wound and stitched and dressed it. They told me to come back to have the stiches removed. Afer the stiches were removed they printed off a bill of what it would have cost me at a normal vet, £190, but said all I needed to do was put a donation in the envalo

I've allways thought that the Greyhound should be at least half of the Lurchers forebear, but I would love to see a Saluki X Whippet....... Back in the 60's, 70's, the owner of the greatest racing whippet, in my mind; Bilko; said he would have loved to see his his dog mated with a Saluki ! Cheers.

I've got a Clulite 2 mcp and a Blitz 240; the clulite will light up the whole feild, I've tryed everything to narrow the beam, but can't get a decent spot. The Blitz has a great spot. The difference is; do you want a lamp you can put in your pocket, or a dustbin lid hanging round your neck ?!! Horses for courses comes to mind ! Cheers.

It seems he WANT'S to play for Man U, so maybe he will be a good signing. He didn't WANT to play for Newcastle, he only went there because they offered him so much money, it's what mercenaries do and he is a mercenary footballer. He was injured more than he played at Newcastle, and when he did play, he walked around with a face like a smacked arse. I firmly believe if he had REALY been commited to the cause at Newcastle, they would still be a premier team; so good riddance to him . Cheers.

I've been known to criticise a judge or two , and also to praise a judge; depending on the job they did;... but one thing is CERTAIN, no one should criticise a judge unless they are also willing to give their own time and money, (I've judged shows as far apart as Glasgow and Derby, and diesel ain't cheap any more !!), and get in the ring and do the job !! Yes, there are good and bad judges, but without them, there wouldn't be shows ! Cheers.
