    I think the deal is Poland gives all its Migs to America in return for F16s. Then America gives the Migs to Ukraine. I'd guess the Ukrainian pilots are far more familiar with the Migs than F16's. Also gives Poland deniability that it's helping Ukraine Poland already has F16's in its Airforce so should be familiar with flying and servicing them. Cheers.

    I agree entirely, but I'm sure many of the people who voted for him as an MP, before he became Speaker, would have been aghast at his bias and determination to to reverse a democratic vote, Brexit, when he became Speaker, that they would not have voted for him given the opportunity that is denied them with the arcane rule that Speakers stand unopposed at General Elections.     It's very rare the staffy blood rears its head in non-peds these days, but it must be a tough old gene as it periodically happens. I had two non-peds that looked like racy staffies back in the '70's, both extremely well bred, one sired by R.Ch Haymaker, and one sired by the great scratch dog Red Baron.     How's it a silly thing to say ? It's what I said in my original post, the one you replied to ! Im saying, at the risk of repeating myself, he's a hypocrite; he loves Russia and communism, yet left there to live in England and write for a right wing newspaper So, in my mind it's wrong to profess to be dedicated to something yet do the opposite. That's what's wrong with what he says. My views on east v west are immaterial to the point I'm making. Cheers.
