I agree, but anyone arrested for protesting in the UK would go through the legal system, they would be availed a court appointed lawyer, legal aid, Habeus Corpus , etc. Putin just throws them in jail . Cheers.

Where did I say Biden isn’t as bad as Putin? Ive not said that at all. Biden is trying to use the legal system to stop Trump, wrong in my mind, but even Biden hasn’t the power to simply throw opponents into jail. Stop making things up and you may be taken more seriously. Stalin had a name for western, left wing intellectuals who supported him; “ useful idiots”. Im sure Putin thinks the same. Cheers

Big difference ! Navalny hasn’t been accused of any crime, Assange and Snowden were accused of treason or spying. Wether they are guilty or not, I don’t know, but Navalny was put in prison and possibly killed simply for being an opponent of Putin . Cheers.

Russias one of the few places I’ve not been to, but I’d love to go, so much to see, the Kremlin, Red Square, the Winter Palace, St. Petersburg, etc, but I doubt I’ll get there in the foreseeable future. Ive got a friend who is half Syrian, half Russian and he thinks it’s a shame that people can’t see places like Damascus and Moscow. Yes you probably could get to them but how safe would you be ? One of yesterday’s new Labour MP’s is 27. She went to university and got a degree in politics , then worked for a charity and is now an MP. Can I really have confidence that she is more worldly wise than I am ? Can I have confidence that she will make decisions based on real life experience ? Can I have confidence she will not cry and fold when under pressure ? Maybe I’m just an old cynic …… Cheers.

Yes , that’s her in all the pics. I thought she was a class dog, but a little small at 23”. Her litter brother was 25” and I thought he would have been a better dog than her if he had been given the same amount of work but for certain circumstances. Cheers.

I think that was when she won the Yorkshire Game Fair and a deer/ grey I had won the Puppy show. I loved the shows back then and judged the Yorkshire Game Fair , not that one, I hasten to add , and judged the EDRD show for friends of mine many times . I don’t go to many shows now, just my local hunt shows to support them , but I’ve nothing against showing or racing as long as people don’t forget that a lurcher is first and foremost a working dog . I’d like nothing better mate but at my advanced age I’d probably just be a hindrance and a bore ! And what would be the point if you couldn’t take me round and I could point out any place I vaguely remember from the adventures I had back then ! LOL ! Just joking , mate , I still have close friends down there, shame that one of my best pals has said next time Cardiff play Newcastle he will come up and go to the game with me ….better hope they get drawn in the cup some time ! I had a pal in Saudi , wee Shugi, who actually did that ! We had a darts match England V Wales one night and he got very violent, as much as an angry little jock could, because we wouldn’t let him play for Wales ! Cheers.

I don’t think there was much customs duty paid on the transactions that went on in there ! LOL ! I seem to remember another club near there, locally known as “The Parachute Club” as you were always guaranteed a jump ! Cheets.
