Watched a film on Amazon Prime last night ; “The stoning of Sorayah”. True story about a woman stoned to death in Iran after being falsely accused of adultery by her husband. Quite harrowing. Cheers.

It wasn’t mine, mate . Collie/ Grey , a member off here had it gifted to her, but she evidently pulled a bad stroke and bred from it and sold it on, instead of giving it back to the lad who bred it. She was up here just for a couple of days, I did see it take a decent daytime hare though. Cheers.

The coursing types have had their day, no one wants to spend ten minutes watching a dog being towed round a field anymore, so add bull for some game, add non-ped whippet / grey for other game. I’m assured by my pal from Hull that this is the way forward. Cheers.

I gave that dog supreme champion at Neilston, so I actually had my hands on it. I’dsay it was just a bit heavier built than my old deer cross, who was 29” and 75lb. So, and I’m just guessing, I’d put it about 80-85 lb. Cheers.

500 yard slips on lamped rabbits. Ten minute courses on hares. Walking 30 mile a night when lamping. And kids doing track times that would have a coach drooling….. Thats what makes us British “Great” ! PMSL ! Cheers.

My pal, who is no longer with us, Lee Evans, was without doubt one of the greatest 400 metre runners ever, won Olympic Gold at 400 and at 4 x400 relay. Also held the world records in both disciplines for over twenty years. I asked him how he was at 100 metres; he said he was useless, even at his best he couldn’t break 10:20. He said it was basically watching the others in the 400 for the first 200 then BAM ! Explode for the final 200 ! He also said you breath in before the gun goes in the 100 and only breathe out once during the race, but you breath in and out twice during t

It’s difficult for the Left, they can use right wing rioters to bash the right, but the last thing they want or need is for pro immigration protesters or Muslim protesters or Labour MP’s and Councillors to be seen to be as bad as the “far right”, it doesn’t fit the narrative “ Left good; Right bad”….. His first speech on the riots was unequivocal; he blamed the “far right”; anyone who was concerned or angry was “far right”. The general opinion was that he had “took sides”. His spads , I imagine, told him the feedback to this wasn’t good, the “Two Tier Kier” was cutting through in opinion polls and focus groups, especially when Elon Musk jumped on it ! The “Two Tier Kier” monicker appears to have hit home. The Labour Councillor who wants to cut the throats of the “far right”, is in court this afternoon. Left wing protesters getting prison sentences; looks like Sir Kier is getting a bit worried about appearing to be biased ! Cheers.

Yes, he starts off with “Salem Alaykum “, ( peace be upon you), and ends with “shukran”, ( thank you), which is strange as that is Arabic, and he’s speaking to , mainly , Pakistan Muslims, who speak mainly Urdu, not Arabic. Virtue signalling….. Cheers.

Depends what you mean by “no security” ? Most of my local shops have what looks like a teenage immigrant as security , who is usually on his phone or listening to whatever the modern variation of the Walkman is ! The local scallywags just laugh at them as they help themselves ! Cheers.

Some years ago my brother was called up for jury duty, the case was a man in his 70’s who had supposedly stolen a packet of bacon from a supermarket. How it ever got past a magistrate’s court and put in front of a jury was beyond me ! When the jury were deliberating, my brother said “there’s only two reasons he stole the bacon; he is either not in control of his mind or he was hungry and couldn’t afford to pay for it. So there is absolutely no way I’m going to find him guilty ! “ The rest of the jury agreed and he was found not guilty. What a waste of time and money !
