  3. chid21 off here had one, looked a handy animal and he regrets getting rid, was at the barbers the other day and he had his dog in, in all the time i been going there i never knew it was a lurcher, it was a ridge/greyxwhippet/grey right little fine thing but could defo see it had ridge or bull in it, fawny/blue in colour, red nose around 23tts nice little thing but had never been worked.
  4. looks fine to me mate, i get it all the time with my older bitch, she gets fed the exact same as my younger bitch, exercised the exact same, worked about the same if not less yet you can see her pins at her back end!!! spoke to the vet and his exact words were she was absalutly fine mostly muscle mass and not much body fat and that i anyone said to me she was skinny i was to tell them to feck off!! exact words lol

  11. my girlfriends maw says she saw a rat going under her patio and was going to poison them, i said i didnt think that was a good idea as they would only go back under, die and smell, i told her to leave it to me and got my hands on a couple of mk4 fenns? set them tonight at the only space i could see them getting out off and put a bit peanut butter on the plates, will this work and when can i expect results any help or pointers would be appreciated thanks

  13. my vet is sound he lived on a farm and knows all about working dogs so doesnt ask questions just does whats nessaccery,
  14. if your mate a mechanic, or know any get him to give them a phone and get it sent to him cash sale, and for the sake of an extra what £50? get the pump done whilst he's in there just in case it collapses and overheats, good old tippex and make sure the marks line up, cant go wrong!! good luck mate.

  17. dingbro are quite cheap mate, is it an 8v or a 16v, 8v are a peice of piss and they really shouldnt be charging more than an hours labour.
  18. at the end of the day the fox is dead, the pups showing its keen with a decent shake on her, bud9's happy, the keepers happy the birds are happy, the only thing thats no happy is charlie with the pup locked onto it but who gives a f**k?
  19. read that you had problems in the past glad you all sorted now, well done with sticking with bailey, its hard enough for an experienced dogman to bring on 1 pup to its full potential never mind two, so for someone with your lesser experience i would say leave it and consentrate on bailey. atb

  21. she's moving a lot better today putting weight on it al be it hobbling around, have decided it lies at the wrist of her front left, if i bend it shes not bothered but if i twist it slightly/gentlly she wimpers, dont know any greyhound vets around edinburgh so i will lay her off for a few weeks and take it from there. thanks for your help
