Today I saw a pair of what I'm sure were Kestrels making a right din, when I looked up one had a Swift in it's grip. Has anyone seen a Kestrel take a Swift, I don't know if it had caught it in flight but I should imagine it did. I wonder if they may have been Hobbies?

What are you talking about? Dog men have talked about owning dogs that were man biters, Zebo is an example of a well known man biter. I've said I think it's a bad idea to use Pit Bulls for man work, there's plenty of other breeds that are very capable of doing the job.

Just to put things in to perspective, Belarus lost over 25% of it's population in WW2. We got off very lightly to those fighting in Eastern Europe.
