  1. I disagree, at one point i was out of work and went to citizens advice, and spoke to the benefits people, despite having no savings, young children and bills i was told it would take 18 weeks for the benefits to kick in, i was entitled to a 25% reduction on my council tax and a job seekers claim of £67.50, what f*****g use was that after 20 odd years of paying tax and national insurance contributions. How can £67.50 pay for a families food/mortgage/gas/electric/water rates/tv licence/house insurance/car insurance/food etc etc...... Simple answer is it can't, we could of easily found ourselve
  2. My older dogs have all been able to be lamped without a slip but when you lamp two in my mind a slip is a must to ensure you can be in total control of which dog is running. I have a second season dog who i still need a slip for, im sure he wont in time but i must admit at the moment in doesn't bother me too much........Although i must say i don't lamp two dogs anymore, i take turns with taking them out........
  3. I have been out with both Flash and Diesel on numerous occasions, both good honest dogs.....
  4. I was at his house this morning, the "cable down" line is a ruse, his doctor has declared him bed ridden and fitted him with a gastric band, i spent 20 minutes helping cheeky role him over to bathe his bed sores............
  5. This thread is like a pencil with no lead...........pointless. How could you judge who had ther best dog, unless you had seen them all work over a period of time?
  6. Glass houses and all that , its grammar
  7. I did a project and delivered a speech when i was ay Uni, mine was on the control of mammals with dogs using facts and figures to promote it as a humane method of control and i thank Barrie Wade for his help, way back in the 90's lol........
  8. Imagine though mate, if they were in the hands of someone not as strong physically and in the head as you. Unfortunately, like a lot of strong breeds they appeal to weak people, and that's when the trouble starts. Never a truer word spoken........
  9. The worlds gone mad "contraversial photo", its a few dead pheasants for fucks sake............
  10. A bit of a cliche but its whats inside that counts, the size of its heart(metaphoricaly speaking) is far more important than physical size.............
  11. Definately, you are doing an excellent job, i admire your dedication and commitment, just a shame so many mrons are adding to a noble dogs misery......

  13. Must admit a 500 kilo grizzly doesn't pop up in my beam that often.......Why is there such jealousy on the site, why is it so hard to say well done rather than crab and moan? I can appreciate a good dog regardless of its vocation or whether its better than mine, trouble is far too many on this site have a chip on there shoulder, not just with dogs but life in general it seems.........You have a cockatoo, they have a cockathree etc. God forbid anybody says well done on one thread without first telling them how great they are, f**k me its the internet, does it really affect your life???? If s
  14. whin my post was aimed at any of the moaners, including you , the fortunate thing is most are well balanced, they have a chip on each shoulder..........You didn't think to mention killing 100 rabbits in EDRD or CMW, well thats your choice (although didn't you post earlier you had never done the 100? ) Trouble is because somebody else has your maoning, it just sounds like a bitter man whin. We all know you have done a lot with your dogs over the years but your constant whinging is becoming predictable......

  16. Hats off to the capercallie for having a go without the weaponry......
  17. Its all down to personal preference, i am very impressed by any dog that has the stamina and ability to catch 100 rabbits, how many are run altogether to get that figure, 120,130,150? The one thing these threads highlight is all 32,000 member own super dogs as nobodys dog can ever do enough to impress them..........
  18. Yes brilliant work, unfortunately they are like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dam.............

  21. Stamina is a failing in my own dogs, never owned one even remotely capable of catching 100, or even doing 100 runs..........
  22. I think he means Butterbean beat Thompson..........
  23. Only saw Marius fight Tim Sylvia, as gnashersaid he is far too heavily muscled and looked gassed after 60 seconds, just a circus show to sell tickets.....
