Hi Tomo, We loved Perth but job opportunities were better in NSW although Adelaide has become an option. Thanks for the website i'll take a look. Don't think i'll become a copper though, unless I have a labotomy
Lurcherbitch they may not be pc but have you thought about using an electric collar? I think in this situation the collar would be kinder than the dog getting PTS when at some point it bogs off and finds a flock of sheep. I think they have a use in the hands of someone with an UNDERSTANDING of training.
I've got a Nissan Navara, I can put the dogs in the back and keep the cab clean for the family. I drive mine pretty conservativly (spell) but still only get 26mpg. Its very comfy though and not too bad off road.
The dogs future would depend on the reason for jacking...if its a physical injury then fair enough but if for example a lurcher has decided he doesn't like the sharp end after his 2nd, 10th, 50th fox then he isn't going to start catching them again....
That could be a contribting factor Rich
Kye, I'd say leaving alone with nothing was pretty gutsy, I know I couldn't do it, glad it worked out so well
True Steve, if it was any other county We have the wolds, they have the great dividing range, we have Mablethorpe and Skegness, they have the Gold coast, we have the fens, they have the outback..........i'll get me coat
I had a Plummer bitch years ago, she bolted lots of foxes from the pipes in the local ironworks but these were straight in and out affairs so she was never tested with a fox in a stop end. If I were after a digging dog I wouldn't buy a Plummer.
