  1. It happened in the bad ole days and the pathetic idea was it would stop a ferret kiling and lying up, in my humble opinion anyone who does such a barbaric practice should have the shit kicked out of them and shouldn't be allowed animals. Imagine someone breaking your teeth in half, would it bother you and make a diference to yor welfare/working ability?

  5. Know of the family, they were on the Jeremy Kyle show!!!!! Poor kids, one thing that always astounded me was they esacaped and some of their kids were still stuck inside, as a parent i know nothing would stop me leaving the house without my kids, even if that meant you died trying.......I hope they didnt cause the death of their children.......
  6. Simo exactly the same as me. Feckin grafted all my life and never claimed a penny, now ive mostly worked for my self. I had a real bad accident about eight years ago proper smashed myself up good style, and because i was behind with my national insurance contributions they said i wasn't eligible for anything. I had my house covered by mortgage insurance and had a bit of savings, and i was off for nearly twelve months due to the nature of my injuries and a few operations. Thanks to my family and a kind ex girlfriend at the time i managed to scrape through it, with no help from the benefits agen

  13. Nice one mate, i think its hard running a show, they do a great job of highlighting our sport and bringing folk together. And i think the high jump is something interesting and different, as i said originally, perhaps if the op had mentioned something at the time this thread would of been null and void, but such is life
  14. Not really applicable as my origins and birth place don`t make me much more of a southerner than yourself, note the Saltire. At least you have the good manners to mention where you are from unlike many on this forum who must have hidden issues of guilt or are just plain devious and underhanded and do nothing to foster good and trusting communications with honest and open people. Regards Bernard Good manners, issues of guilt, devious? Give your head a wobble chap, i think i sold something once on the forum, and as Mal pointed out, the location was put on the add in accordance with

  17. Not all of us on the site are interested in buying and selling or want our location made public, it won't be compulsary. As Paul said, a pm isn't such a time consuming task surely, how often do you buy things, not as if its a weekly transaction surely?
  18. Just stop, is that my wrist slapped? I agree folk take showing/racing far too seriously, and a high jump is something different and i enjoy watching it to be honest. I still stand by my original comments, there should of been a platform on the other side as landing from height on summer earth that is as hard as bell iron puts a dog at huge risk of damaging wrists and pasterns, who wants a damaged dog potentially laid up when the season starts because it took part in a jumping competition? I also think perhaps the op should of had a friendly word with the organisers and suggested a landing r

  20. firts dogs dont have plat forms in real fields and there was straw at the bottem Hang on lad the adults are typing In real fields dogs dont jump up and over 8/9/10/11/12 foot walls on a regular basis, straw aint enough of a cushion on wrists and pasterns........ deer fenceshahaha Seen a few deer fences, but never one that tall lol deer fences are 8 foot So 8, not 9/10/11/12? And funnily enough i dont ask mine to jump them regularly in summer heat when the ground is like bell iron......
