    Wait for a decent night, find terrain that favours the dog, get between the rabbits and the warren, find a rabbit far out, keep the lamp on it and walk the dog towards it, dont slip until the dog has definately seen the rabbit, then pray

    A good guard dog is like a good digging dog, rocking horse shit, hopefully the dogs territorial instinct will kick in But if you want a better chance find a good trainer and hope for the best, same with terriers/lurchers/gundogs/sheepdogs etc, unless its bred correctly chanches are it will be sub-standard............

    whin, nobody putting pics up of there dogs and game have said anywhere "these are the dogs bollocks and are better than yours" they are proud of there catches and good for them, they haven't said their pictures prove anything. We all know you have done a bit but by f**k you appear as jealous as anyone i have seen on here, its seems unless you are gaining all the attention youmust keep popping up on the thread to have a dig. Why not start a thread on your acheivements rather than crabbing others and jumping on threads attention seeking?

Rob Collins has produced a book entitled "Recipes from the Hedgerow", the book contains recipes derived from rabbit/hare/partridge/venison/pheasant/goose/squirel/pigeon/fish and is enough to make any hunters mouth water. The book is for sale on the fourteenacre website and niether Rob or John at fourteenacre are making a penny from this venture, all profits are going to be ploughed back into organisat

    Andy, the Don dog seems very usefull and i hear he is stamina packed, what made you choose a full collie rather than another dog from the line?
