    Agreed, any true hunter believes in control, not eradication........... Any many hunts do more to conserve their quarry than any other fecker Exactly, planting cover and a million other things to conserve habitat, Unfortunately far too many non hunters..and hunters can't see beyond a red coat and "supposed" wealth.............

    Pre 2004 if hunts were drawing shoots, sheep farms etc etc and NOT killing foxes then pretty soon they would run out of hunt country................

    Is it meant to be fair? As in give the quarry a 50/50 chance of getting away or is a hunter meant to act fairly, as in ensure hunting is humanely carried out with no cruelty? I hunt because i enjoy the hunt, the catch is a bonus is some cases. Pre 2004 hutning with both hounds and lurchers was used as a humane method of fox control, a few idiots brought it into disripute but done correctly both are traditional, enjoyable and FAIR.............

    Excellent post, i have always had terrier bitches, never a dog, and always had lurcher dogs, never a bitch until last time. Think i will stick with bitches, it makes a change to walk a mile without 35 piss breaks, dogs are stronger, seasons can be a pain but life has its challenges............

    Personally i think they are way over priced, you could build a professional set-up consisting of breeze blocks, galvanised mesh and drainage and electricity for a lot less than 2 grand. I had a block of five kennels that cost me less than £1,500............

    I went home 10 minutes after arriving as it pissed it down and i wasn't prepared. Also when a woman told me her dog and her had just won the "most loving couple class", i did think i knew a way of winning first place but i didnt take a dog and the spectical may not of been appreciated......................

    At the end of the day its the op's choice what he does, all i know is my families safety is paramount and nobody messes with it..............

    Not aimed at any post in particular, personally im big enough and ugly enough to knock on a door and speak, IF you know which house it is, BUT my kids safety comes before any "label"

    I don't understand all ths talk about grassing like extras from a Guy Ritchie movie.......IF your kid was injured, blinded or worse would you be able to sleep easier knowing you had not "grassed"?

    I agree gnash, we sat there as a family until 1am!! It did get a bot tedious watching the numerous nations enter the arena, BUT i thought the opening ceremony was utterly fantstic, and something we as hosts should be very proud of...........
