I had the same problem years ago but I was running a collie cross, with his added inteligence he also phoned the emergency services and produced a wonderfull steak tata before they arrived................. On a serious note hope he is ok, cows are strong beasts........

All I would say is you wont find the solution to your problems on a hunting forum. Make a doctors appointment and seek professional advice as depression may go away but it will be back..........

dotty, I was with the fella in question when the dog was delivered to him in August and then over the phone he changed his mind and the dog went back, messer...........As we both know the "new" owner cares and grafts his dogs better than 99% of folk out there..........yep messer

Land theives . I know what you mean, about 10 years ago me and two mates had permission on a farm and took another chap there, he went behind or back and offered the farmer cash to give him sole rights, so we were kicked off as the farmer saw the notes flash across his eyes.

If its a deep cut and the dog has been carrying it for two weeks i'd get it too a vet.....

A cut is a cut and treatment depends on the severity, can it be cleaned with cotton wool and hibiscrub or is it deep and require veterinary attention?

It is important to pick the temperament that best suits yours, I prefer a bold strong dog as I can't gel with quiet or timid dogs..........
