    Now thats a debate in itslef Von Which dog works harder, the lurcher who perhaps runs 100 times a week and catches perhaps rabbits, the man whose dog runs perhaps 12 deer a week and catches 7 or the man who runs perhaps 12 foxes a week and catches 6????? I would say the rabbiting dog may exert more energy on the runs but not with the catch Then there are the coursing lads........

    Just a question, for the sake of this question imagine its aimed at folk in a country where a greater quarry list is available or pre ban in this country. Now it could be me but i think some lurchermen who take/took "big game" look down upon the humble rabbiter as some sort of effeminate closet homosexual who is playing at the game and is wasting his time on the humble bunny, opinions people?????....... Lurcherman 1: This man keeps a pair of useful tykes and during the season lamps with his dogs regularly taking good numbers of rabbits and at the weekend can be found on the local fields

    Usual media rubbish, the lads were daft digging charlie in a hot spot that is known for settes without permission next to a footpath!!!!!!!!!! Has anybody ever dug a badger, removed it from the sette and taken it to a pre-dug hole to set dogs on it Do they really beleive the shite spouted or is it all said for the public? Badger DIGGING was a prefectly legitimate method of sport/control until a relativly short period of time ago in this country and is still perfectly accpetable in many Europeans countries, badger BAITING was outlawed over a hundred years ago, big big difference......

    Mate has his own agricultural fencing company, he has lots of specialist equipment including tractors, will be costly at first as you will need to compete with the big boys but everybody starts somewhere so best of luck matey........

    i know what you mean regards phone calls, i bred a litter of bullmastiffs in the 80s. Some did phone 4-5 times regards a pup, and i can understand that some didnt take it any further.But some were right prats, called 3-6 days none stop and i think just for somthing to do.! it put me off breeding any dog after that, Out of curiosity Ray, what size were the bullmastiffs........................... bitch 25in dog was 27in , 10 pups . They were good dogs with good hips,+agile not like whats round to day. Thats when went got into lurchers 80s, great dogs never looked
