Yea and most of the time the rock salt turns to dust and you get very little penetration that they say wouldn't be enough to break skin .. yet there's loads of people saying there scared from being hit with them .

Personally I think rock salt out of a shotgun is a load of shite .. Why would you risk a loss of licence a GBH charge or even an attempted murder charge by firing a bit of salt out a gun that can't penetrate clothing at 20 yards FFS . Old wives tale of you ask me and people believe it

When we lived with the in laws . We hatched and reared quail for hawk food and food for the FiL also for the eggs . At one point we had over 400 in the pen and then what ever was in the brood shed and whatever we was incubating.. Easiest way to sex them is wait till you hear ionecrow you know that's a male .. (males are generally smaller than the females ..)
