Collie bull grey x whippet grey was always my intention for breeding .. but i bought in a whippet x saluki lurcher, which im hoping makes a good rabbiter as i bought her in as a brood all being well to put my c/b/g over... think the saluki would add alot more into a lurcher than greyhound would .... 23-24" would be my ideal height ,

Picked up this wee bitch today from the gf nephew ... she is about 17 month old and 21" tts and should hopefully catch me a few rabbits and maybe the odd hare she is whippet/saluki lurcher x whippet saluki lurcher ....

I have had 2 lurchers for the last 6 1/2 years and have favoured one more than the other on the lamp but its good having the 2nd one incase of injuries or just when the other looks like it needs a rest , but i made the mistake of having the dogs close in age (year apart) ... think a 3 yr age gap at least would better so not to have 2 slowing down at the same time and needing to bring a third in ... having said that ive just bought in a whippet x saluki lurcher so now have 3 lol ....but i have plans for the bitch all being well ..

60 hours per week and your looking to do more ......bollocks to that ! but he is an electrician ... by the time theyve waffled a load of shite to you about watts and ohms and wrong fuses.. drank the mandatory 20 cups of tea it really equates to 5 hours of actual work

Hit reply to soon there ... i wanted a cheap springer that could be took over 12ft/lbs ... and ive got a cheap springer over 12ft/lbs.. They shoot at around 1000fps , people are getting 28ft/lbs out of them and there shooting consistently ... i liked the feel of the hatsan and at £140 new i thought id give it a go ...

Thanks for the advice pianoman ill be going for a hw80 in the future but just havent got the funds for one yet and couldnt warrent spending that on a springer when theres more important things like xmas to think about ... o yea and a new sofa for the missus I have bought a hatstand to play about with and get the slot open on my fac, done a bit of reading on them and they seem a bit like marmite but im happy ....brand new it cost me £140 http://www.hatsan.com.tr/en_torpedo_150_th.html

Supposedly you need pet passports and rabies jabs if your coming from the south not a clue if they enforce it or not.. but if you come through the north its straight forward keep them in your motor or you can use a kennel but its an extra 20 quid per dog

I know of a litter where a dog made 26/27 and the bitch i had was 21 and there was no whippet in the breeding
