Seen a great looking collie and it moved cattle brilliantly , and the other week was talking to the farmer thinking id get a line of it or even a pup in the future when he told me it was a cur lol it was a 1/4 lab 3/4 collie and it had no balls lol

Think nowadays a coursing bred mutt is a far better option than a grey , id even go coursing bred x full bred none running dog ... Other than that lurcher x lurcher everytime

working dogs are exempt They are only exempt when working though? And when on permission. Sometimes it's handy to be able to say it's just a pet dog being walked? Yes exempt when working unless its a pack of hounds who are exempt all the time ... but on private land it dont matter anyway, its only in public they need collars on ...police dont enforce this, its a matter for the local council

if your on public land hunting rabbit and rat you are breaking the law .... unless you have permission from the local council I know the law and like I stated I was not hunting I was walking the dogs I had no intentions of hunting it's that simple I was replying to 3 Turns not you , thats why i quoted his post ....

If it was me and i had access to a none merle bitch out of the same stock id be lining her wih the merle , if there wasnt a none merle available id be doing the merle x merle and be prepared to cull hard

aye more white is what they say , but mochara on here had a merle that was all white apart from the head , so thats not set in stone ...

double merles are carrying the merle gene twice , which can cause deahness and blindness .. solid colours wont be carrying the merle gene

yes but how do you tell whats a double merle or normal merle ? It wouldnt be an easy task cheers roy and chid21.any one ells now how to tell if thay are double merles as pups double merles generally come out mostly white with patches of merle light in colour ... but dont know if thats a safe way of determing which are normal merles

one sister to caled that i now of a very good bitch got 30 and 40 louds of times but on land that is lamped to death and not masive numbers there.no brothers he was the only dog in the litter did you not put sp over the sister to caled? no not yet but thats jest one way im thinking about going.an other way im thinking about going is a bit risky with the merle but its full brother to sister with thees two sure only one of them look merle so it would be no riskier than a normal brother to sister mating no the fawn has merle on his back hard to seewell if you breed them together just keep any s
