  1. Seen a great looking collie and it moved cattle brilliantly , and the other week was talking to the farmer thinking id get a line of it or even a pup in the future when he told me it was a cur lol it was a 1/4 lab 3/4 collie and it had no balls lol

  6. working dogs are exempt They are only exempt when working though? And when on permission. Sometimes it's handy to be able to say it's just a pet dog being walked? Yes exempt when working unless its a pack of hounds who are exempt all the time ... but on private land it dont matter anyway, its only in public they need collars on ...police dont enforce this, its a matter for the local council

  16. If it was me and i had access to a none merle bitch out of the same stock id be lining her wih the merle , if there wasnt a none merle available id be doing the merle x merle and be prepared to cull hard
  17. aye more white is what they say , but mochara on here had a merle that was all white apart from the head , so thats not set in stone ...
  18. double merles are carrying the merle gene twice , which can cause deahness and blindness .. solid colours wont be carrying the merle gene
  19. yes but how do you tell whats a double merle or normal merle ? It wouldnt be an easy task cheers roy and chid21.any one ells now how to tell if thay are double merles as pups double merles generally come out mostly white with patches of merle light in colour ... but dont know if thats a safe way of determing which are normal merles
