Turk ... true or false ... You were not convicted of any legal wrongdoings, it was the dogs that were the issue. your dogs were destroyed because they were proven to be bull breeds, correct? (when I say proven, I mean that the RSPCA had an "expert" say that they were bull breeds or heavy bull crosses.)

no I didn't, but I did see in another thread where she's 17 and parents are anti-hunting etc. You would think that the welfare of the dog would be paramount? -
Am I correct thinking that pacing is where each sides legs are moving at the same time (right front/right rear), while trotting is front left moving at same time as rear right?

my bitch had split hers open and we thought we could deal with it ourselves, but after getting re-whacked (she's a happy dog) a few times, bleeding just as bad and obviously sore, it was obvious it was not going to heal itself. They sliced on 2 sides, peeled it like a banana, took I think 4 joints out, trimmed it up and stitched her up. I am convinced that one thing that helped her was the shorter tail could not build up as much velocity, so even now when she whacks something hard, it isn't hitting as fast and hard as before. is it "three legged" or "free legged" pacing? And is pacing in harness different than trotting? Is one faster than the other? and is there a preferance for mares, stallions, or does it not matter?

are they naturally gaited or do they have to train with hobbles until they learn the gait? breeds here like morgans and tennessee walkers used to be natural gaiters but shows ruined them so they have to be hobbled to train the gait now what if a horse kicks into a gallop? Does someone watch to make sure each horse is truly trotting? Or can they not do anything other than trot because of how the harnesses are?

that was something else! a few questions if thats okay, I am really fascinated by this! how long can a horse continue racing (years), and how many times per season/year? How fast can a good horse go, I heard the girl say "35 miles an hour", is that a good pace? - why was Chip & Pin so far behind at the start? Why did China Jack's lead car (don't know what they are called?) slow down so much at the end of the race, it almost caused a pileup? Why do the following cars x3 follow so close to the horses?
