  1. Lily getting big ... 13 pounds now
  2. It takes me a long time right now as I am still playing with different vegs, and how to cut/shred them ... last night I used a hand grater to mince a head of cabage (harder than it sounds!) and 4 carrots, I don't have any electrical way to do it. Added to that lambsmilk replacer mixed into a couple pints of water, and a quart of uncooked chunks beef fat straight from the butchers. That split between the 4 dogs went something like this ... They all ate the chunks of fat, Blister (70 lbs) ate all the liquid and most of the veg, Tor (75 lbs) just sucked the fluid out only, leaving about a pint
  3. Kye was telling me not to cook it for the above reasons Socks, and not that I didn't believe him, but it's just like when your mom would make you put on a jumper because SHE was cold? I'm the same way with feeding the dogs cold food! what do you make the gravy with? Would something like bread soaked down in lambsmilk replacer do?
  4. PAID - why did you take off the pic of "DRAMA QUEEN OF THE FENS"... it was quite funny
  5. I've just not ever heard that term before ...
  6. it was a MIDGET Elvis! I speak for us both when I say we'd do it the same way all over again ... no muss, no fuss we still haven't gone on our honeymoon though, I would like to go somewhere of peace, quiet and no work for a few days!
  7. I want to know can someone really be "Un-Arrested"? Released without charges I could understand, but "un-arrested"? WTF?
  8. Does the nutrition of fats change when it's cooked? I ask because when it's cold I like to warm the veg/fats that the dogs eat, but are not sure if rendering/cooking the fat changes the nutrition? Same with the veg, I've been steaming cabbage / celery / tomatoes etc a bit before feeding, using the hot water in their rations as well. advice please?
  9. When Kye & I were married we spent I think maybe 700 quid on 2 nice, weighty plain gold bands (mine is YG, his is WG, they are thick, like 1/4" or so) spent 65 quid for the marriage license AND ceremony at the Drive-Through Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, wore our own clothes, another 100 quid on a nice meal, and went home to bed ... never changed a thing with us. My father spent almost 50,000 on my little sisters wedding, and unfortunately their marriage did not last. Another point is I can't tell you how many clients I have who lose their rings, or are mugged for them, or lose the sto
  10. it's another wind up, nothing has happened
  11. I'd like to know who would leave their dogs dead/dying in a field?
  12. IMO it's all about the "live on credit" lifestyle so popular now, and all about the materialistic cows that have made the marriage racket the billion dollar industry it is. Have you ever seen the TV show "Bridezilla's"? Crazy crazy crazy people. It is just a piece of paper, marriage will not ever change a relationship for the better. The same things you BOTH bitch about now, you will BOTH bitch about after you are married. If you don't run around on her (unless she doesn't mind ) , and you treat her well, she should be happy with whatever you give her. IMO anyway.
  13. you should be able to click on top right underneath where it will say Search and Help, it will say "1 new message" or even "0 new messages" ...
  14. buy only what you can afford, in this case size doesn't matter. If she bitches about it, she isn't the one for you, as you have to ask yourself if she will stick with you when the going is tough?
  15. Kyes bitch did something similar when she flipped over in a hidden crevace, the tail hung like a baboons tail and was taken off by the vet, hasn't affected her running or turning
  16. awesome, I look forward to hearing how she turns out, and good for you for taking so much time in helping her find a home!
  17. I thought someone used to have to be a donating member to advertize? It would help keep these sorts of problems from happening IMO, it is too easy to say "It wasn't MY litter", "not my fault" etc
  18. We would enjoy it! The only thing holding us back right now is being saddled with a property in another state where the real estate market has crashed hard :realmad: so nothing can happen with the 'hunting lodge' until that gets sold, or we win the lottery  But I admit I've been doing some online searches for property! Oh and to put the dollar versus pound into perspective, $150 is 100 quid and $1000 is 680 quid
  19. If you were willing to travel with them, we could surely accomodate you and probably set up sitters so you could have non-kid times out ... each trip and situation would likely be different.
  20. why did you ring him 10 times?
  21. Chiming in here ... I would want it to be economical, so that the average joe could come. Having a bunch of rich dicks treating us all like the hired help is not what I have in mind. Yes I'd want it to be the "trip of a lifetime" for people, but not if it's only what someone could afford just once! Most of what we hunt doesn't require tags, so the licence and tag fees would be minimal, unless you were after something specific during certain seasons. My mother ran a Bed & Breakfast and catering company for years so it's in my background. I rode horses from infancy, so that's anothe
  22. it attacks both healthy and ill tissue so use it occasionally to do a deep clean, salt water is best for dailies
  23. anyone know where any links are regarding any of this? Don't hunt kennels always do their own?
