  12. a friend of mine has one and to be fair when working as good a lamp as youle get but hes had wiring and switches replaced and still it breaks down,he even said an electrician said the switch may be a warmer switch, one youve got to switch on three or four times befor it warms up boliocks a lamp should come on strait away and for that money be very reliable.
  13. 5mths old! Thats crazy, We are not talking red or horn now whin, so why does a rabbiting dog have to be fearless.... They need to first of all give you a good mark(one you have 100% faith in) Then be still while the nets are laid... Also be silent, Then work the warren on tip toes, knowing where the next rabbit will bolt. Not stick its head into the nets, and most importantly nail any bolters that have missed a net, then get on with the job at hand...and be good with the ferrets... If you talking rabbiting dogs, as running them, well every lurcher i have owned has caught rabbits

  19. looks a belter,my advice to you mate would be not to train in the same manner as a gun dog, lurchers dont need to be so machanicle, the overly excessive commands sour a pup, should be a nice dog for you looks nice.atb doga.
  20. why not get a dog and start new,no bad habbits or some one elses rubbish.get it right to start with not the other way round,i cant under stand why folk dont put them together right before entering.sure your going to have to polish them off when in the field but the initial training will shine through if done correctly.

its a shame your not getting what you desserve from your dog as it sounds like you give a toss but hes turning into a liability(dangerouse).get something more suitable and let the dog have what it deserves a knowledgable owner, dont be put off it happens.atb doga.
  23. talking soley through first hand exsperience the saluki is the dog for out and out stanima and if crossed with other breeds correctly will add feet stamina and drive no doubt.
