youve all got pretty much the same idea,i alternate the the bike to do about three runs a week,some old fellow years ago told me that swimming softens the muscle so not to do to much but ive had no problems,it seems to do um well when coming from injury as well.

last few weeks started gettin um fit ,still seems a million miles away for the season even at my age but youve got to do it now!,road walks,bike,ball running and swimming for me,haw do yous lot do it.

slow down,big bully types may be but a 1\4 wouldnt slow a lurcher down,ive seen good half crosses plenty quick enough for rabbits,hare and fallow but thats different to the original question, for me bull wont slow a lurcher down its got definate advantages in the right proportion.

well ive seen the fors and against and there is fair argument but for me having seen quite a few bull type lurchers go at it and owning a few i recon theres always room for good bull blood,it improves on drive and stamina and to be fair bull terriers can be trained well so arnt unintelligent,why not?.

had a mouch with mate cole 2,his young terrier my lurchers and a gun,the pup flushed a good dog fox to the gun and all was well in no time wich done the terrier well to have a mouth,sorry about shit pic camera is crap.

very true dogs have to be good dogs to catch them hares at that time of year ive been many a time and watched dogs get batterd by them,there run regular and are very fit hares.
