    there has been a few lurchers run in the flapping game my son used to flap his lurcher i bred it was seven eigths greyhound and won the few lurcher races it ran in and was a very very fast lurcher but when running against even the rubbing rags in bottom heat on the flaps it was just very average the only time a lucher will beat a greyhound on the track is when the greyhounds are very very slow ones compared to the average ones ite facts theyre just no as fast as purebreds .

    yes you do get the odd one that can compete,had one bred by, crock of gold, she was an aeroplane with lurchers , but needed 1000m plus but a greyhound is defferent class to any hybrid,
