  1. Loads of info on the web that can describe it better than me.
  2. ...get them all! Bledy crows! I know it's nature but there are to many of them. Just keep at them this spring. Don't let the vegan's stop you.
  3. Years ago low mounts were all the rage. It got real dumb when Leopold came out with a range of scopes that had the objective lens with a cut out for the barrel! Never understood it. With low mounts the first crossing point is closer and so is the second crossing point. With higher mounts the second cross over is much further with little to no difference before the first.
  4. I prefer not having to cram my head down.. I like the height.
  5. Looks damp damaged, is it black mold..... ? Posh tart ??
  6. Not strictly true Meece. The law states for a shotgun licence " the applicant shall be granted". There are in law no hoops other than securing the shotgun/s and certain criminal conviction restrictions. Only rifles and pistols and high magazine capacity shotguns that have to be entered on a firearm certificate require " the applicant must provide good reason" in order to posses. Good reasons for example are. Target shooting via a registered club. Vermin shooting on land suitable and the rights to shoot on are bought, leased or given. Deer shooting on suitable land and
  7. Never doubted it mate. Been watching them do it for decades.
  8. Why did you buy a double seater? I heard you got no mates!
  9. If you have high seats mate use them ?. We made some on one estate. They accounted well.
  10. This doe looks like it's has young again in our back garden. Took a photo of her today. It's a good photo in as much it shows the black piece of coal eyes that I look for when I am hunting them in thick cover.
  11. Well done Dave. I often go out in the moon. If you can sit still in a vehicle over bait it's not a problem.
  12. Nice one coot. I was out last night to. Just got a glimpse of old slinky. Loads of rabbits out yes. Barn owl too. Loved every minute of it.
  13. It's brains were spread all over the grass and the top of its skull missing...that ok for you?
  14. It passed through its noggin and penetrated about 8" of turf.
  15. Where is Stav? Ben? Thought Ben was about to tell us how he has gone on with his new rifle/s. Good to see Deker is still alive. I live not far from Radway green and have done some work there off and on over three decades. Boy that place has been run down! Think they just do 5.56 & 20-30mm practice ammo now. (?). The CZ is shooting better off hand now which I am pleased about. The above photo is a Winchester hphp recovered from the turf. How a bullet should look. Any how. Hope you're all okay. SD.
  16. Rather have a 357 single shot or lever action myself.
  17. I think it's a good thing. They will make good habits for all sorts of birds and fish. Some lynx and wolf would be good too. Maybe the mamby pamby mard anti gun and anti hunting types will shut up after a couple of vegans have been chewed some.
  18. The black and white world must be a very boring place for some.
  19. Local club, contact the secutary. Or go to N, Ireland.
  20. I meant in principle mate as in basic is next to useless. It would be equally prohibited going down the high street solicitors.
  21. With the wind down tonight I got to do some testing before dark. Nothing much to report but I was offhand plinking to 150 and it was much steadier to aim. My confidence is restored ?
  22. I spit it out. At least lead don't smash my teeth when I bite on it. Spitting bits of tooth out from biting on steel shot is bad, Nickel and copper ain't no good either but I guess the pro progress types don't give a flying fig about my dental health, after all we are evil killing scum bags and deserve every type of suffering possible!
  23. You'd be better of calling in a solicitor on the high street mate!
