  1. Well done mate, looks chilly! Not been out with the ferrets for two weeks now, sh*t weather last week, out bushing today and in ireland next weekend. The ferrets are going nuts! Not much of theseason left either
  2. A lovely looking bitch My bitch is also that way inclined and i have had her since a puppy, i think some dogs are just timid by nature. Be very careful as you bring her on, as soon as you loose your patience with her you will make everything a hundred times worse and end up going backwards if she is anything like mine
  3. Mine cost £45, depends on the vets though
  4. i think you will need an FAC, all guns are on ticket in ireland
  5. i think she is in sweden, i have never seen ferrets with that colouring here. Are they some kind of scandinavian breed or just a colour mutation?
  6. Fecking ace!!!! But illd rather have saved em for meself. We had plenty, used to pick bin bags full of them every year. it was a long time ago though, the thought of them makes me cringe now
  7. Magic mushrooms into the staffroom tea urn. Now i think about it i cant believe i actually did it
  8. Well done mate, its not all about the bag. Those buries do sound a tad big for just one ferret, glad you all enjoyed it though
  9. Kent and east sussex are next door to each other? i live in west sussex and drive to kent hunting regularly, you must be able to get someone to give you a lift? Where in kent do you live?
  10. i hope not mate, but he is bigger than i had planned for. i'll have to wait and see Can you PM me your system with the ball and the rabbit skin again, it sounded like a good way to get them going? i will show you the results in the spring
  11. We were all set to go out but it was blowing a gale and the rain was unreal, almost everywhere is flooded at the moment. i ended up pacing around the house for a couple hours then eventually donned the waterproofs and went out with the airgun, ended up soaked but with a squirrel. its not ferreting but at least i tried!
  12. Hmmm .... we will try and get some better pics tomorrow. i expect we will never know but its good to get opinions from those with more experience. Thanks for the replies
  13. Usual system then, 50% useful replies and 50% comedy stuff. Thanks for both, some of them made me smile!
  14. He is quite a lump, about 14" tts and can only just span his chest. i think he might be a bit older than 7mths though. im hoping to get him bushing and flushing to the lurchers so being small is not vital - luckily
  15. This is Ollie, we were told he is a 7mth old border cross, anyone got any ideas what with?
  16. Well done mate, at the right range and with good shot placement they are more than capable
  17. my dog A nice little dog, whats his breeding?
  18. Have to agree, im not racist i just hate pricks. All pricks that dont work, dont contribute etc. i dont care if thaey are white, brown, yellow or purple. Christian, muslim, pagan, hindu whatever .... it dont matter to me. if you dont put anything in you shouldnt take anything out. End of story.
  19. f*ck 'em, dont even waste your time listening. Sounds harsh but will save you alot of aggro

    kent coast

We tried to get some of the timber of that boat that sunk off worthing in the summer. We didnt even get close to it before the busies appeared and warned us off Guess what the council did with it in the end ...... paid my mates firm a fortune to put it through the wood chipper What a f*cking stupid waste
  21. Yeah, we both work the dogs and she is as into them as me. No one else has been near them. The only thing that has happened was that as Amy, my fiance, unclipped her lead one day she trod on something that hurt her and ran off and wouldnt come back. She does tend to blame the nearest person for things like thorns or electric fences! The only other thing is that she (the dog) usually comes to work with me but what with christmas and working on a different site since i started back she hasnt been able to until this week. Maybe she is spoilt and feeling neglected?
  22. Thanks guys. This is her second season and she was miserable for a bit after her last one but this time she has taken it to a whole new level. We are going to take both the dogs for a little shine tonight, the first since they got injured (cut their legs on the same day) so maybe that will cheer her up. Any more advice?
