  1. Good job Victor and Cooper, well done
  2. i just picked up a striker to replace my old faithful Clulite. i've heard all the horror stories about the wiring so what should i do to it? i cant be doing with it breaking while im out so i'd rather do it first. i did a search on here but its about a million pages and i couldnt find a full set of instuctions. i tied a knot in the lead as suggested but should i do anything else?
  3. Thank your lucky stars mate! My bitch has hardly worked at all this season due to injuries, barbed wire, flinty ground and impaled her leg on a branch
  4. He is 100% correct. The spitfire is a break barrel pcp, its air cylinder is where the spring piston would be and you load it by breaking the barrel and loading directly into it. it was available at sub 12 ftlb and i would be very surprised it if would be any good as an fac rifle as you only get 25ish shots at legal limit in .22 and less in .177. it was designed to be refilled in the field from a super 10 buddy bottle. i dont rate them much compared to the other models available and i havent seen one for years. You boys shouldnt be jumping in thinking you know it all, theres been a

  10. Nice one BRL thats exactly what i wanted to hear! Saves having 2 chargers lying about!
  11. your charger for the 7 would be a 500 you will need an 800 for the 17ah arthur carter online usualy next day delivery and an after sales service unrivalled in my opinion The charger i have that came with the 7ah set up is a 800mA, just been looking a bit online and they sell 1500mA for 12-18ah batteries. Will it damage either lamp or charger if i use the 800mA or will it just take a long time to charge? Thanks
  12. Anyone know if you can charge a 12v 17ah battery with the charger for a 12v 7ah one? Thanks
  13. i've been using a lazerlite with a 12v 7ah battery but i have just been given a 12v 17ah battery. Can i use the same charger or do i need a different one? if so wheres the best place to get it from? Thanks

  15. The second clip was not my thing for the reasons above but .... .... did no one watch the first one????? i think that was one of the most incredible bits of footage i have ever seen, how unbelievably tough are those goats? Once it fell i thought that it was done, cant believe it was not only alive but able to make a half decent run before getting pulled.
  16. i lived in zanzibar for a while and we ate alot of goats. i think they are good as long as they are cooked right, make sure you soak the meat of older ones and then stew or curry them. We never hung them as it was too hot but that might help soften them but also maybe give them a stronger flavour? The taste of the meat can also be affected by what they eat, some of the african ones have a tendency to eat newspaper which makes them taste very strange. We still ate them though i definately prefer them to rabbit but as everyone else has said the younger the better and big old billies a

When i was working in the ashdown forest driving in the eary mornings i had a couple that had been hit but were still alive. i was doing them a favor, finishing them off, but you should have seen some of the looks i was getting from other drivers, me on the verge with an opinel in one hand and kneeling on a roe!

    FOR DOGA

Are there many people still building them? i've always been fascinated by them, used to see a few around the verges when i was a kid but not seen any on the roads for years. i'm a carpenter and was thinking i would, one day, like to go and help someone build one, just to learn how its done. if any one knows anyone doing it i would be very interested
  19. A price would be good mate, im still out of work so might put a few together

  22. Sounds like the use of the word has, rightly or wrongly, evolved. Either way im sure none of this was meant personally to anyone and its gone on long enough. For the record i have no problem with ANYONE whatever their heritage, i judge people individually by their actions - not something that can be done over the internet.
