    Moonlight ferreting for rabbits with ella . This is one of my favourite methods of catching rabbits. We were using longnets to surround the Warrens instead of using purse nets. I took Big rich my albino hob. We had a bell on the ferrets collar too, so if we couldnt see him we could atleast hear him leaving the warren. We ferreted a handful of Warren's and caught 9 rabbits. Bud caught a few when moving between Warren's. We had one 1ft dig and a couple rabbits in the nets.The pictures are stills from the footage using an Infra red filter.     Yes mate we filmed it. Waiting for another good night to do it again. Over 300 rabbits on two fields.

    What a great night me and @moucheroutdoors aka nighthunter whippets had last night longnetting rabbits to help control the rabbit population on a nearby farm. It was fascinating watching how the rabbits moved around the fields when the nets were being run out using the pulsar axion xm30 . Even if they were running away from the nets ? lol We were using two 100 yard quickest longnets from Les Nelson. I'm looking forward to next time and hopefully plan B will get us better bag.     Saluki collie whippet grey. Shes about 26tts. Dam is 21tts and sire was 26tts. Dam on the left. I dont have a pic of the sire.

    Had a day out with Paul who is known as nighthunter whippets on youtube. His new channel is called @moucheroutdoors. We were traveling light. He was using his poaching bag from rabbitfever. Anyway we decided to try a couple spots of hedgerow ferreting bolting to the dogs. We ended up digging 5 rabbits and my Bud caught a runner. Young Roe was working great too.Brilliant day out.

    I have just started going out with Paul Waddington. Hes done alot over the years hunting. He has now stopped breeding whippets but he never bred many anyway from what told me. He's a genuine guy, done abit with jim when he was younger. Me and Paul will be out together this week ferreting some of his permission. Hes now bringing on a lurcher after many years. The lurcher was bred by Ella who I have been hunting with alot recently. The dogs coming on well.

    He doesn't want one atm and I dont want to end up with just a rabbit dog. When did you breed? Which dog? I didnt know. We had a good night behind yours other week Tomo. Fancy a daytime mooch with my thermal.
