    Hi, in the next few weeks I'm heading north to begin my vanlife adventure along with my two dogs and ferrets and rifle. I will be coming back to have my kids 3 out of 4 weekends. I have a little permission to go on first in the Dale's but hopefully I can pick up some more as I get about. My plan is to bring a few rabbits back to sell and to cover my fuel but most importantly I will be living of as much of my catch as possible.     This season I haven't done alot of hunting but over christmas I managed a night out lamping followed by a days ferreting. I invited a friend along who's bringing on his bedlington. I took bud, the pup I bred who's now 5 year old. We had a decent night catching 7 rabbits and missed a few aswell. Bud was rushing his chances and the rabbits where giving him a good run. All in all it was a good night and the ferreting was a good day aswell. I'm editing that and it will be ready next week. I hope you enjoy the video. Thankyou

    Here's a video from a few week back. I was trying to get Missy catching on camera but nothing was going in my favour. Since this video missy has caught a total of 10 rabbits. She's doing me proud tbh. Enjoy

    Yes it would. I wouldn't like that task of untangling a fox in the dark. That rabbit in the video hit the net well. How did you find the hares hitting the longnet. Do they tangle up well with the meshes being small.

    I want to do that too, but get the kids running through the long grass in the day chasing them back to net.

    Well I fancy doing that too. I can't wait for the snow too. Love it at night in the snow. Might go on some big land and let dog work up. Will film it with the infra red filter. Its amazing how well that filter works. All you can see is the red filter and a spot of red light on the ground if you point at floor. But with 109w bulb on striker, will be able to see the whole field. It will look like I'm lamping through camera.
