  1. Me and my cousin headed north again last night. I was running the pointer x and he was running lass. I took the camera hoping to get some decent footage of the dogs. But neither of us checked weather prior to leaving and we were in for a very wet and wild night and I wasn't dressed for it. First place we lamped, we haven't done it yet this season. As we climbed the hill to reach the flatter ground on the tops. We were greeted with fog and lots of it. Thankfully the wind moved it on and we had 20 mins of clear lamping. I managed 5 from 5 runs with Missy. The wind was blowing that hard the
  2. Thanks chaps. Yes the long nights do take it's toll. Even more so with the faster types too. I reckon my cousins dog lass will have plenty of years because her style is so relaxed. Yes mate rabbit numbers are really low. Same place we caught 142 in a night we are struggling to get 30's. Might have just been a couple bad nights so we will see how the rest of the season goes. Thanks again

We head to the same permission we were on last time but since then the farmer has taken off his sheep so the lads have more fields to go at. I follow Ryan and had brought both his dogs (SKY and MOLLY) hoping to give them both some exercise. Sky broke her Leg a couple years ago and has had plenty of time of to heal. She has a brilliant style to her lamping, side stepping the rabbits before striking at them. Molly also
  4. Ferreting rabbits with Lurcher, long and purse nets video. In this video I go ferreting with Ryan from MW RABBIT CONTROL. We head to his old permission with his dog Molly the machine, 3 ferrets, purse nets and a 50 yard long net from RABBITFEVER.COM. The rabbits are few and far between and we have to walk a lot of ground. The first few warrens the warrens are too big and deep because the ground is sandy and the rabbits like to dig deeper. We manage a couple bolts but have to dig to the first rabbit. We move onto some smaller warrens but the wind makes it tricky for Molly to anti
