Mrs Stav has tottered off to London to see Oasis for a couple of days, so I’m treating myself to a day in the house on my own, starting of with bacon butty’s and a cup of Yorkshire, might get my curry book out later, see if I can find something I haven’t done yet

Last night, homemade chicken Kiev rapped in Serrano ham with thyme mini roast spuds, I should of cut it open before the picture because the garlic butter made a lovely sauce tonight was a spicy chicken stir fry, it was nice but if I do it again I think I’ll leave the ginger out

I’ve just sat and watched it, it was as good as I thought it would be, the line that stuck with me was “ if you choose drugs over people all you are left with is the drugs” I felt sorry for Denise Richard’s, they had everything and his madness wrecked everything

No weekends off now until February, my birds are coming along nicely and I’m starting to pull a few into the far drives, always nice to get free birds onto the shoot

Bit of all sorts today, I turn up here and there’s just a list of little jobs, got the bank side seeded, removed a fence, sorted a drain problem and had a look at the treatment plant, turns out the air pump has packed up, so they will have to order one and I’ll fit it, good days graft but I don’t work as hard as the lawnmower, that things put a proper shift in today

Started stripping out on my demolition job today, there looks like there will be some good scrap coming out of here to add to my collection from the bungalow I did the other week

Pork stroganoff type thing tonight with the left over roast pork and all the jelly out the roasting tin, it was lovely

Well I think my mate needs to have his tape measure calibrated because that’s 40T in so at a guess we’ll need a bit more than another 8T to finish it off

Type one going in today, works out at 48T just hope it all comes today because I want to start my demolition job tomorrow

Even after all his madness he still comes across as a good bloke, I started watching a bit of it but then stopped because this deserves my undivided attention, not having Mrs Stav pecking my head while I’m trying to watch it

I was on about them to the missus last night and she said she was manager on call when she was taken in and it took ages to get her sectioned, they had 24 hours security because he was trying to break her out, running through the hospital with his voodoo stick you shouldn’t laugh at mental illness but sometimes it’s just too funny not to

Just tried the crumble, it was lovely, I’m glad I took the plums as well as the apples they worked well with the apples

Roast pork dinner, I’ll have to wait a bit for the crumble, I’m done in now

Going for a cheap bit of pork today, just had to show it a bit of love to make it look like a decent bit of meat and I helped myself to some apples and plums from garden I was in last week so I’ve made an apple and plum crumble, I cheated, my auntie Bessie made the crumble

Thyme baked cod loin with cream mash, asparagus a white wine butter sauce, I’ll start the diet tomorrow

A kind of chicken jalfrezi took ages because I had to roast the tomatoes, but it was worth it, I got one of them shop bought naan’s, I don’t think I’ll bother next time
