    Not for tonight but for elevenses on the first shoot day tomorrow, leek and potato soup, corn beef and potato pie and venison sausage rolls, oh yeah and bramble gin and Prosecco to wet our whistles

    Hahaha, not on the next job but I’m sure I’ll have something for him soon enough, he grafted today, soaking wet, covered in concrete and never moaned once, I asked him what he was doing at uni and I should of guessed with him being Nigerian, finance ( lol )

    Everything ready for concrete tomorrow, I don’t know why building reg’s want it done this way, 100mm type 1, 50mm sand, 150mm of insulation then 100mm of concrete, for me concrete sub floor is always better

    Toad in da hole tonight, just what was needed after being out in the rain most of the day

    Had the lad with me again today and my god I’ve worked him, so all the type one is in, drainage in, so just the insulation ( 150mm now, new reg’s, more money) and DPM to go in then 100mm of concrete to go in on Thursday, so he’ll be back on the barrow

    Jesus, I need to get away from this job, turned up this morning and was greeted by a smackhead telling me how some other smackhead had set fire to herself in the upstairs room and could I lend him 10 quid until he can go in her flat to get his stuff, because his money and his pregab’s are in there, oh dear, go away you mess

    Up at the shoot for first light this morning, stunning morning very cold and still, bumped into a young fallow that had been practicing his rutting and had managed to obscure his vision with so rather fetching head gear
