Tonight for her, chicken breast stuffed with garlic butter and chestnut mushrooms, rapped in prosciutto and covered in panko breadcrumbs, wedges with a little bit of onion powder and garlic salt, green beans, carrots and baby corn cooked in a butter emulsion ( not what I would of put with it, but it’s what she wanted) for me, Murgh Kari ( chicken curry ) nice but the spice hits you after you have eaten it, first time making it and I might of got a bit carried away with the cayenne

Putting a couple of aco’s in for one of the old boys from the shoot today in the rain, haven’t had to pay for anything because it’s stuff left over from other jobs, he said he’s not bothered what it costs, he may regret that, I don’t want cash, I want a day of his shooting ( lol )

I really struggled with reading when I was a kid and one teacher took the time to help me and it was fishing magazines that we would read and as you say, reading something you have a real interest in really helps the development of your reading, I now love to read, still can’t spell for sh*t though

Finished off today with the limestone chippings, it looks massive now and it’s got some kind of level to it, I’d love to know what price the lad put in for this, I’m sure he will of made more than I charged him and the customer gave me 2k today

Few months ago I did a job for a bloke and he paid me with a 2005 focus, I put it up for sale for a few hundred quid on gumtree, the amount of idiots that messaged me was ridiculous, one asked to come and see it and travelled 70 miles to get to me, after 45 minutes of trying to give me 150 quid for it and becoming quite threatening I lost my sh*t with him and told him the price had gone up a hundred quid and if he wasn’t paying that for it he’d better fu*k off back to where him and his little mate came from, it bothers me that the way they behave a lot of people will be intimidated by them, in

They will if they know what’s good for them, I don’t want the carryon I had last year with a few pillow casing them early in the season -

Quick bird update, they moving further through the drives by the day, they will be done with the pellets by the end of the week, we are a little under 5 weeks before the first day so looking at them I think they should be tailed up and ready by then, as always there will still be some smaller birds on the first day so some selective shooting will be required -
Patio grouted, then off to feed the birds
-
Well, I’m done in now, little nap is in order one more thing, I bought the so called posh gravy in a bag instead of making my own, don’t bother, I’d of been better off with bisto

Winter is on its way, time to get the stews on the go chicken, leek, carrots, new spuds, shallot’s, cooked off in white wine, black pepper and thyme, before chicken and veg stock added and put in the oven for 2 hours, definitely worth the wait
