  1. Cherry laurel hedge planted this morning, 30 meters of fence to start now
  2. Garlic and thyme roast spuds, carrots, braised savoy cabbage and fishcake ( shop bought, but the posh ones, lol )
  3. What’s the black breads/cracker looking things?

No wonder public services are in such a mess, 5 of us on this job for the police, 9 meter dig, run a cable in, back fill, relay slabs, you’d never know I’d been here, then 3 sparky’s to fit 1 camera, all on a full days pay for 4 hours work home, to do a spring on the cleaners ( mother-in-law ) car
  6. Drain finished, bit of patio laid to the concrete pad and quad fixed, back home for 3, quick shower and a nod in my chair for an hour or so
  7. Couple of jobs at my mates farm, concrete pad for a greenhouse for his missus, surface drain in the yard, back tomorrow to put a few flags down to the pad, build a chamber for the drain and have a look at the quad that won’t start

  10. Not cooked yet, but I’m sure it will make many wonderful delights and it was a good way to walk off my Sunday dinner, especially the mile drag back to the van
  11. Roast beef again, only thing different from last Sunday is I used a bit of red wine vinegar in the gravy, made it better
  12. I use these, you can get them for between £25 and £35 off places like eBay, they have the screen inside for checking what’s on the sd card, I also have an adapter that plugs into the bottom of my phone so I put the sd in and download what I want to my phone while I’m at the camera
  13. I do like a couple of pints of sheep, half a dozen smithy’s for me this evening
  14. Pan fried sea bass with a roasted ratatouille ( the only way to do a ratatouille) I would say this is the best plate of food I’ve ever made
  15. It’s what’s in the pie, white wine, cream, chicken stock, just use it like a gravy

  17. 36 grand of oak to protect today before we start putting it together outside and lifting them into place
  18. Cracking little van mate, you can get miles more in them than you think, little 1.3 diesel, runs on fresh air, I’ve got one myself
  19. I always griddle pan fry them on a high heat ( griddle them so they are not sat in the fat ) then in the oven for between 10/15 minutes then let them rest for 15 minutes because they are still cooking once out the oven

Good luck to you sir, life is too short to work til you drop, no point being the richest man in the graveyard I’m in my mid 40’s now and would happily retire now, keep running my shoot and potter around for a bit of pocket money, my missus earns enough to easily support us both, but my happiness is no concern of hers ( lol )

Making a start on my next motor to sell for a bit of pocket money they even dropped it off for me and it came with a clutch kit, bottom arm, drop link, oil and filter and a timing chain kit, full service history, 4 new tyres and a new turbo fitted a month ago and she said to me if I find out it needs anything else let her know and she’ll supply the parts for free got to be a few quid in this at 1200 quid
