I’m from Stockton, near Middlesbrough, I’ve never bothered doing them because 90% of my work is private and the other 10% is for management companies so I ether work under their permits or they don’t ask any questions, I generally won’t work on sites because they are full of mongs

Had a phone call from the big boss about half hour ago ask if I’d go back and they would work around the tickets, told him to fook off, I work for the school, police and council and don’t have to show them anything, I’ve come to do a job for the council now, they are just glad I turn up and do the job 3 times faster than their lads

Middlesbrough is a horrible place, it’s like a foreign country, I was working in the centre a few weeks ago and I felt like I should of had my passport with me

Well that job didn’t last long, just been kicked off for not not having CSCS, permit to work, risk assessment or digger ticket, oh well, looked a sh*te job anyway ( lol )

Got a couple of cheap steaks from Asda, did them with black pepper wedges, garlic mushrooms and a salad, the only thing that wasn’t delicious was the steak but I suppose you get what you pay for, won’t be getting them again

Took out some borders and seeded it this morning, to make a nice green space for a chaps disabled wife then a few finish off jobs, they are very happy with what we have done but all I’m thinking is I would of loved to of pulled all the grass up and redone it, but the budget didn’t allow that

They all breakdown at some point, I know a bloke that had an A4 and all he did was slag it off and said he’d never have another Audi they are sh*t, went out and bought a Skoda, brought it to show me telling me what an amazing car it was, looked a bit disappointed when I pointed out to him that’s it’s the same car as the A4 with a different badge on the front, VW group is massive, you’ve got, VW, SEAT, SKODA, AUDI, PORSCHE, LAMBORGHINI, BENTLEY, and probably a few others, I’m sure they are something to do with MAN and SCANIA on the commercial side and DUCATI motorcycles. I had an 09 plate A4 diesel,it was about 2 year old when I got it, put 80,000 on it and it was no bother at all, until one day the engine management light came on, after that it was one thing after another, I carried out some economic repairs to it ( wiring bodge ) and chopped it in at a garage for a Tiguan that only had 18k on the clock, the dealer never stopped ringing me about how I’d traded in a car that wasn’t fit for the road, in the end I just laughed at him and blocked his number, the Tiguan was a cracking motor, I put 100k on it and it never missed a beat, sold it to a mate about 18 m

A couple of years ago my missus was thinking about getting a Porsche Taycan, when we had a look the deal was 10k in then about 1300 quid a month over 60 months, the sales bloke said they sell hardly any to private buyers, I said “ No sh*t “ people just buy them through businesses, so she’ll have to settle with the Audi, it comes with a load of Porsche and Lamborghini bits in the interior anyway

That’s exactly it mate, live the life you want, we don’t have any family to leave our estate to when we pop our clogs so we have the outlook that we will do what we want and have what we want as long as finances allow, I know that if we had kids it would be all about them, as it should be

We never used to take her cars to Audi even for service, we have a local independent that specialises in Audi’s so they used to service them and it wouldn’t affect the warranty, Audi are charging between £130 and £150 an hour now so we just go for the service plan at £12 a month works out miles cheaper and everything else is covered by the warranty

The 12k isn’t all discount, it’s a number juggling exercise to get to where you are happy with the payment, going through the numbers with her yesterday most people wouldn’t of been able to buy a 2 year old car from them for what she is paying for the S3, you never want to own cars like this, because once they are out of warranty they just become a headache if they go wrong. If you have a lot of money you might as well spend it on as many shiny things as you want because you can’t take it with you, she’s in a very good position, we have no real debt, no kids and she has a very well paid job th

What she will do is keep it for 2 years ( half way through the deal ) then take it in, with the discount she got there will probably be enough equity in it just to swap for another new car, she had her last S3 for just under 2 years and was told that they can’t get hold of them, traded it in for the A5 convertible and only lost the vat on it, the one before was the last of the 2 door S3’s black edition which made it a desirable car so she got really good money on that trading it in, she’s not daft when it comes to cars, always goes for something that will have a high resale, she got the A5 bec
