  1. Rails are all screwed on but the boards are nailed on with a good old twating stick
  2. Not a bad start this morning, should be finished before it gets dark
  3. I’ve had Meindl’s for years, this is the first pair of Lowa I’ve had and I’m very happy with them
  4. A lot of people are know are getting them now and all have said how good they are, I got these before the start of the shooting season and they have been spot on, got them for just over 200 quid delivered from France

Got finished off at the polytunnel job last week, my mate give me a good drink on the scrap, I thought I’d rapped in for the year but I’ve volunteered myself to do a fence tomorrow, fingers crossed I can get it done in the day because I need to up at my shoot on Friday to sort some trees out or they won’t be able to get round on Saturday

  16. Rest of the little patio down and done the gate and fence as a little freebee for her, just need to pop back and grout it and soil round the edges
  17. No, it’s a lot wetter than it looks, I do 1/3 yellow, 2/3 sharp, half a bag of cement and good splash of SBR, properly gets hold of them, used to do it with just sharp but now and again you’d get one that came loose, the wetter you can have it the better the mix keys to the stone
  18. Started putting the little patio down today, it started raining so I called it a day

My missus has already put forward the menu, she wants leek and potato soup with Parmesan and garlic croutons, choice of chicken or beef, must come with creamed cabbage, the rest of the veg is up to me, then cake and custard, but has to be a choice between vanilla and lemon ( lol ) I’d of gone, chicken liver pate, venison, Bakewell tart, then some good cheese, but they are people of simple tastes
  20. Yeah, I do a lot of it the day before, they’ll be expecting 3 courses so preparation is the key, this isn’t my first rodeo ( lol )
  21. Another beef dinner, bit more practice for the 9 I’ve got coming for Christmas
  22. It turned out to be somewhere between a jalfrezi and a madras, too be honest it might of been a bit hot for me, I can still feel it burning it’s way down to my back pipe
