No, it’s a lot wetter than it looks, I do 1/3 yellow, 2/3 sharp, half a bag of cement and good splash of SBR, properly gets hold of them, used to do it with just sharp but now and again you’d get one that came loose, the wetter you can have it the better the mix keys to the stone

Started putting the little patio down today, it started raining so I called it a day

My missus has already put forward the menu, she wants leek and potato soup with Parmesan and garlic croutons, choice of chicken or beef, must come with creamed cabbage, the rest of the veg is up to me, then cake and custard, but has to be a choice between vanilla and lemon ( lol ) I’d of gone, chicken liver pate, venison, Bakewell tart, then some good cheese, but they are people of simple tastes

Yeah, I do a lot of it the day before, they’ll be expecting 3 courses so preparation is the key, this isn’t my first rodeo ( lol )
