Another usual Sunday, pot roast beef, I could of just had the gravy with some crusty bread

For her, cod loin in panko, with new spuds and tender stem for me, baked cod loin with a chorizo and Mediterranean vegetables stew, this is the type of food I like, I think the only way this could of been any better is if I had added a few mussels and cooked them in the stew

Interesting this, I suppose the sub-culture I followed was the rave culture in the early to mid 90’s, the only footwear was air max ( and I still wear them) with Daniel Poole or Naf Naf jumpers, then moved on to clubbing, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Replay, Paul Smith, ( which is what I still wear now) I had a mate when I was going to raves who was out drinking sh*te lager, beating the sh*t out of people in his Samba’s and Stone Island, I bumped into him before Christmas and he’s still the same. Now there seem far fewer little groups, most round here ( including my nephews) are Northface, Nike TN’s

For me, sea bass with tomatoes, peppers and new potatoes for her, sea bass with leek and new potatoes don’t know about hers but mine was bloody lovely

Went to do the cable, it’s a bit more than just put it under the ground, disconnect the car charger, cut the concrete, wants it 500 down, in a duct, can you put me water in while you are on, rewire car charger, connect water, back fill and recover with gravel, sometimes people take advantage of my good nature ( tw*t )

Well, that’s that finished, sanded, brushed up and where I’ve been back and forward with the dumper sorted out, all just needs some weather on it now, off to bury a cable now, hopefully I’ll be home before dark today

Grass down and secure, just got to sand it tomorrow and make it look nice ( or as nice as fake grass can look )

Grass has arrived 4 hours late and in two full rolls instead of four, so had to roll it out and cut it, now it’s got to be laid out for a couple of hours before we start putting it down, it’s going to be a late one

Type one levelled, sand on, timber edge in and levelled ready for the grass tomorrow

Another load of clean limestone and capped off with 20T of type one, ready for 20T of sharp sand tomorrow, I’ve spent more time waiting for deliveries today than doing any work

All dug out, two grab loads away and first 18T of clean limestone in, not a bad days graft

Half of it out, might be a bit more than 70 tonne to come out

New one today, fake grass at a school in lovely saltburn by the sea, 70 tonne to dig out, need to be finished by the weekend

Few from this week saag chicken cod loin in Serrano ham, this might not look the best but it was absolutely lovely roast beef today

I know that now ( lol ) the problem in this house is if we’re not out making money we’re out spending it, it’s miles cheaper to go to work

Decided to have the day off today, got out my pit, went downstairs and the missus had decided the same ( bugger )so she’s had me fixing the kitchen sink, beeswaxing the new furniture and took me to get a new telly, I hate doing sh*t around the house
