    So, I had a misfire on the .17 so had a look at the case and the neck had a crack in it, though nothing of it, few more shots and it did it again, same thing, crack in the neck, I’ve just checked the rest of them an out of 400 rounds I’ve got 85 all cracked, these are hornady, Remington and Winchester, mainly Remington that are cracked with a few hornady, out of 100 Winnie’s not one cracked, I know what I’ll be buying from now on ?

    I’m blaming the weather, I took my mate up to the pheasant shoot last night, got onto a big dog, me on the NV and my mate on the rifle got the dog down to about 70 yards lit it up and he clean missed it, then came the barrage of excuses, my heads banging because of the weather, my backs killing me ?     It’s the same up here, they don’t want rain now they have started the cut, you could go caving in some of them cracks

    If you see any send it my way, I’ve just been up to the shoot and I’ve never seen it so dry, I had a fence repair to do at the back of one of the pens I took my wellies because it’s always boggie at the back, got there and it’s like a dust bowl, we are supposed to get heavy showers over the next week but if that’s what we get then it will just run off the dry land, we need some prolonged rain to soak in

    It’s a gray area, as far as I know there is no distance you have to be from a boundary, they can be arrested for endangering people or “ interrupting “ both can be interpreted in a number of different ways, dropping pigeons onto a road may be considered both of these, if it continued to happen I’d be having a word with them and see where that got me

    Think I’m going shiny with this one, I’ve had a few second hand, most recently the cz .17hmr, everything he owned for £250, it seems to just be a fad with some people so there’s some real bargains to be had

    Yeah it seems to be going ok at home at the minute, I’m sure it will cost me dear at some point the scope was a bit of a deal, ex display, I was looking at a 16x40 but thought I’d see how I got on with this for the price

    I’ve looked at a few rifles and I always come back tikka it seems whatever I want I have to wait for to have it in lefty, he’s ordered me the tikka, GMK said it could be here in 3 weeks

    Sad news, my gun shop has just rang, GMK don’t have the tikka in stock, they’ve ordered me it and they have said 5 weeks, I’ve rang every shop I can think of even down to sportsman in Exeter and no one has it in left, looks like a waiting game now

    Mines not normally to bad she just likes to be involved in spending my money, hers is a different story, she earns considerably more than me but mine is ours and hers is her own, saying that I did say I would replace all the doors in the house and then spent it all on this new rifle, I haven’t mentioned that part yet ?

    That’s a cuuts trick, I made sure I got the invoice and bill of sale off this little fella, because he looked the type to do something like that

    To be fair my missus shoe collection is a joke, nobody needs over 450 pairs of shoes and non of them are cheap, so if she was to complain about the price of my gun collection I’d have to remind her that she only has 2 feet, but only after a couple of bravery beers

    I gave a lad £300 for this, there’s plenty out there, on eBay he got it on the cycle to work thing, used it twice after paying £750 for it,

    You will have to put a letter in your will, only to be opened on death explaining the true worth, she might be mad about the lie or cash them in and spend it on something that would have you spinning in your grave, at least you won’t be there to see what becomes of all your gear

    My missus has seen the invoice and asked what it was, I explained waiting to be stabbed through the chest with a knitting needle and she said you should treat yourself you work hard, now I am extremely worried
