    That’s definitely something to look at, I know someone who has one on demo, I’ll have to get hold of him to see what he thinks of it’s pro’s and con’s, he’ll always tell me the truth or he won’t get to come game shooting on my shoot, he’s a good bloke to know because every time pulsar or Yukon release something new because of who his son is he gets it to play with

    I’ve been to all 3 at Harrogate, it’s a cracking day out, fingers crossed this mess dies out by the summer and it goes ahead, I’m sure there’s loads of stuff I don’t need but once I see it there I have to have it

    You are certainly not the only one to do that, I drove 110 miles to find I’d left the bolt at home, after a lot of swearing ? I drove all the way home collected it and drove back only to find the lad I was meant to meet had shot 3 deer because he thought I wasn’t going back ?

    I’ve just had an email saying that the northern shooting show has been postponed until August, it’s an expected turn of events but I had a tidy sum put aside for a bit of a splurge, if anyone has any ideas how I can save this cash until then instead of frittering it away on pointless stuff I’d be grateful for any help ?, I was also hoping to bump into a few off here, I might of even gone against my northern beliefs and bought them a cup of tea ?

    I was considering rapping in at my mechanic job and just working with my mate full time, just me and him until he told me my replacement was arriving today, anyway we had a race digging a hole and fitting a gate post, it turns out my job is safe and he’s just spent about 20 grand on something that’s not as good at digging holes as me ?

    Cracking night out that, where I’ve been working today the old dear had some pictures of a mink in her garden, when I mentioned I could sort it out for her I got the impression she thinks this thing is a bloody pet ?

    I decided to take myself out this evening for a wander around some fields that were my first ever permission all those years ago now these fields over the years have been hammered for rabbits, everything from rifles, shotguns, dogs, ferrets, whenever anybody new comes along and fancies a go after the hoppers this is the place I always take them. So I wasn’t expecting to see to many, on arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see good numbers running through the oilseed rape, after shooting 5 and only been able to find 2 of them due to the depth of the rape I decided to call it a night as t

    Well I had my walk out last night, no foxes shot but did see 2 through the thermal, now I do like thermal but it can be frustrating when it allows you to see things you have no chance of getting on, anyway despite not getting a ginger it was a lovely night to be out, crystal clear sky with no moon, just the stars to look up at, I did see a lot of rabbits which was good to see, I may need these if them tw*ts don’t stop panic buying us into starvation ?

    Lovely to be out this time of year and to be wandering about the woods with a gun, even better, I never managed to get out today so I’m off for a walk out around the shoot tonight just to see if there’s a ginger about but mainly just for a walk out in the fresh air ?

    I started with a small cough ? yesterday, now I’m not very sociable anyway but I’m thinking just to be on the safe side maybe I should self isolate for a minimum of 28 days, now as I understand it self isolation is staying away from other humans not rabbits, foxes, pigeons etc this could be a month of shooting adventures, on my own of course ?

    That’s what I like about them, just been able to swap my vortex for the digex, everybody I’ve spoken to have said they can’t fault them, the only thing that lets them down is the price

    I’ve tried a couple of times with the shotguns but just can’t get away with it, it all just feels wrong, so I have to pay more for everything, loads of manufacturers don’t do rifles in true left, it’s borderline racism to us wonky lefties, we are a proud people and shouldn’t be discriminated against ?
